[CLOSED] we're soarin', flyin'
Who: Catrina Calavera, Kris Dreemurr, Shoka Sakurane
What: Shoka learns how to Fly (the hard way)
When: Mid-April
Where: The Minior launching site
Warnings: Irresponsible usage of soda and mints
Even long after she and Maya have completed their own work on the catapults, Shoka remains lingering at the launch site. She sits off to the side—safely outside of the Minior's trajectory—with her disguise-head craned back and her phone out, watching (and recording) the Minior as they streak across the sky.
Despite the indignity inherent in being catapulted, she finds herself almost envious of the creatures once they right themselves and rocket off into the unknown, trilling and whooping in their alien language. They act as if there was nothing undignified about the process at all, purely happy and free in flight.
She and Maya were far from the only team that showed up to make this possible, and Shoka wasn't the only one who chose to stick around to watch. It isn't long before someone else joins her: Kris and Catrina. A couple of weirdos, she thinks with amusement, undoubtedly here to do something stupid.
"Hey, losers," she greets them as she pockets her phone. "Enjoying the show?"
