[Clonelin and Aelita haven't interacted much before. But both of them wanted to help pick up around town, and with their small size, it made sense for them to partner up.]

[Hello, chaos friend! It's time to quest together! Clonelin waits for Catrina at the edge of town, excited to venture out.]

[ Hey chaos friend Clonelin! Here comes chaos friend Catrina, bounding around the corner with no idea of how bad of a type disadvantage both Pokemon had against Excadrill. ]

Hey Colin! Ready to go deal with the pointy moles!?

It's not a problem. [It's said with a smile. For all Aelita lacked in certain areas, she was good at being polite. (She just picked being rude half the time).

Then it was time to survey the area...Mime Jr. what is this stuff? Dried, brittle vines? Chips of Stone? But Aelita and the Mimikyu she was with had their bags.]

I wonder someone should start tending to the plants around here?

[That seemed to be most of the litter. Overly aggressive plants taking root and breaking things as they grew.]

[Oh this will be easy! Surely with their combined abilities, they can fight off any creatures they encounter!]

[Didn't the quest call them "Excadrills"? From that name, Clonelin can guess they probably dig in the ground, at least, even if it doesn't know exactly what they look like. But a mole is something new entirely.]

They're like unholy abominations against nature, they got no eyes and live underground, likely waiting to eat unattended children, I think.

[ Catrina...that's not how moles work or even close to what Excadrills are....oh never mind this sideshow is going to believe what she makes up. ]

[Sorry, Aelita. Clonelin's never met a child before Bottlecap Bay- it doesn't know how to interact with them.

...Or people in general, really. Mime Jr. is giving Clonelin a look, which it ignores.]

Bonemeal? [What on earth was that? Something to do with farms... Aelita shook her head. She could ask Ume at the gardens when she had time.]

Well, at least it gives us a job to do. They probably want this clearing because of the fires... [It seemed a lot like the wood and leaves they'd been removing elsewhere anyway.]

[That description doesn't sound too off the mark from some of the more hostile entities Clonelin has heard of, or even some mobs, but....]

That's what I said too about the teleportation quest, but that shit went belly up super fast with Gnarly Charlie following us around!

[ .....hot damn the Excadrill really made a bunch of holes there... ]

[Hm. If those are the holes of something that lives underground... they must be tunnels or caves.

(Honestly Clonelin wasn't questioning the idea of random holes before Catrina pointed that out. It's from Minecraft, world generation gets weird.)]

[And it just... jumps into a hole. The thought is that it can follow the Excadrill tunnels back to where the Excadrill are... but conveying that is hard.]

[ Clonelin is very lucky that Catrina is a creature of little common sense and goes to follow it into the hole. With a little wiggle and bounce, down goes Catrina into the hole! ]

[ There is some hollering of fun as Catrina goes to ride down the Excadrill hole, likely alerting the highly aggressive murder moles in the process. ]

[ .....Catrina will do well in the world of Minecraft...maybe...okay she'd likely get eaten by a zombie... ]

... and plantsar e good fire spreaders. getting ridof thems a good idea if fires aare a danger.

[Clonelin begins gathering up the vines... and gathering, and gathering. Not putting them in the bag, just holding a bundle in one arm, trying to keep it all together.]
