Where: The Middle Tier Housing for Lum Berry Guild, more specifically, The Lily Pad located upstairs in Dolly's new home.

Sing us a Song, You're the Piano Man~!

The bar is set up to the nines and nicely organized for its maiden voyage for the housewarming, ready to entertain others upon coming inside. The counter is painted delicately to resemble a lily pond, soft blues, creamy pinks, soft whites, and mossy greens adorn the surface lovingly. On the counter are felt coasters made to look like the namesake, lily pads. Some have the lilies on them, others have a smiling little frog, and then there are few that have a little gold ball stitched on. If you're from earth and familiar with the Frog Prince fairytale, you'll likely pick up on the theme super quickly.

Lining the back of the wall of the bar are bottles of the homemade alcohol as well as decorative potion bottles that have the precautionary 'do not drink' on them. It's set up as a nice lounging style where folks can lay on the floor with the giant domino shaped pillows while playing boardgames with the other guests. The games available are the Clue boardgame, A homemade dart board with sharpened pebbles for the darts, The card game of Potions and Poisons with game instructions, A small game board of chess, and a stacking logs game of some kind to choose from. Perhaps one day, Dolly will have an actual set of dominos to offer to play with. In the corner of the room is Ribombee, taking a very well needed break from work to have a drink. Best not to disturb him, the poor mon needs some space during these stressful times.

Behind the counter, Dolly is merrily tending to mixing drinks and serving her guests for the housewarming party with Shuckle on the counter looking pretty cozy with their woven blanket on their shell. Elsewhere, it would appear Dolly had invited her neighbors over to get to know them better, Maushold and the ever loathsome Togepi. The two bigger Maushold are very social, gentle voices much like Mister Rodger in demeanor while keeping the smaller ones close by as they sip cherry cola. Togepi, the middle age Pokemon that unfortunately never grew out of his baby face, is most certainly the most unwelcome and unwholesome guest imaginable. Togepi hasn't even had any alcohol in his body yet, he doesn't have alcohol as an excuse at all for the behavior. Dolly is definitely having major regrets ever inviting over her dread neighbor Togepi at the moment.

On the counter are two menus of the drinks to pick from, one being the cocktails while the other is soda for those that cannot have alcohol.

Cocktail Menu

Berry Wines Available (Made by Cedric and Mayaka): Cheri, Leppa, Sitrus, Aspear, Nomel, Grepa, Oran, and Tanga. Feel free to request to have it mixed with a soda of you choice to make it into a wine cooler.

Better Bee-lieve it!: A nice blend of lemonade, elderflower liquor, and mead, topped with a lightly salted honeycomb.

Imploded Billionaires: The adult version of a cherry cola! Rum mixed with cola with some cherry syrup, garnished with homemade cherry mash candies that were dipped with a mini skewer still in there. Optionally can be pigmented black since it's a known fact billionaires have crude oil coursing through their veins.

Vesper: Recipe provided by Eleanor! A timeless classic cocktail made of gin, vodka, and Kina Lillet served with a lemon zest curl inside.

Mai-Tai: Recipe Provided by Eleanor! The perfect beach drink to enjoy the summer with, made with rum, curaçao, orgeat syrup made with the leftover almonds from Cedric and Mayaka with a splash of lime juice. Comes with a little grilled pineapple slice garnish.

Mint Julep: A refreshing classic! Made with chopped mint brought by Cedric and Mayaka, bourbon, sugar, and a splash of water over on crushed ice.

Toasted Almond: A cozy comfort drink of amaretto, coffee liqueur, and heavy cream. You can request a scoop of moo moo milk ice cream to top it with. The amaretto was made by Cedric and Mayaka while the coffee liqueur was made by Siffrin and Cater.

Amaretto Sour: A classic blend of amaretto and sour mix, garnished with a lemon twist in a Chansey egg white foam. The amaretto was made by Cedric and Mayaka.

Nukashine: Designed lovingly by our very own Perrin and given Thundershocks by Bigby Wolf! This drink has a good spicy kick.

Martini: Available in Dirty, Perfect, Dry, and Wet.

Lemon Cake: Sweet, but punches back hard! A mix of limoncello and vanilla bean vodka with a sprinkle rim. The limoncello was created by Aelita and Sonya!

Hard Fruit Cider: A curiously strong blend of mixed fruits that sure to bring a refreshing bite with every sip! This lovely blend was brought to use by Siffrin and Cater.

Dandelion Wine: This is literally summer in a glass with the bright, sweet floral notes of dandelion. This delightful blend was made by Siffrin and Cater.

The Bay Old Fashioned: An old fashioned with a massive punch! Gently muddled sugar and water combined with smooth whiskey followed by a splash of Revival Herb bitters, this is a drink you won't be forgetting any time soon. It's delicately garnished with a twist of orange rind and a cherry. The Revival Herb bitters was made by Siffrin and Cater.

Manhattan Bay: A classic with a Bottlecap Bay twist! Made with Whiskey, a splash of dandelion wine, and the Revival Herb bitters garnished with a cherry. It is a lot stronger than the average Manhattan, featuring two alcohols made by Siffrin and Cater!


Soda Menu

((Sodas available (Made by Perrin and Eleanor) : Nuka Cola, Sunset Sarsaparilla, and Lemon Lime Soda ))

Cherry Cola: The classic! This too comes with the skewer of the cherry mash candies.

Shirley Temple: Recipe Provided by Eleanor! A classic kids cocktail of a lemon-lime soda mixed with some cherry syrup. Can be turned into a float upon request!

Soda Float: Your pick of the soda with a scoop of moo-moo milk ice cream on top.

Minty Lemonade: A fun lemonade with freshly chopped mint leaves provided by Cedric and Mayaka. You may request it to have some blueberry tea to be poured in for the most refreshing half and half out there!

Sundae: Okay, so not a drink per se, but it's still delicious! Two scoops of the moo moo milk ice cream topped with melted chocolate, whipped cream, and your choice of a regular cherry or cherry mash candies.

Iced Tea: Pick from your choice of Peppermint, Orange Spice, Chocolate Hazelnut (already sweetened), Raspberry, Blueberry, Peach, Hojicha, or London Fog. It can be sweetened upon request!

Potion Mixture: Pick three non alcoholic drinks and have them mixed together to produce your very own custom drink!

With the menu looked over and drinks picked, it's truly a good time to go mingle with your fellow guests, play some games, or chat with Dolly as she runs the bar. Let's just hope that all the bar gets is a rowdy and drunken tavern song instead of a bar fight. Then again, the Fates are very much a hideous lot with a humor to match....

Having been coxed away from the booze and into having sodas-

Aelita had drifted to the board games. Mostly chess, she knew chess, she knew chess very well. It was almost bullying the unfortunate locals. And she was the worst kind of sport about it too. Watching them think about their moves, smiling ominously when they reached for certain pieces and making them hesitate.

A menace... Someone is going to smack her.

She was a lot less obnoxious with the the other games. The log stacking one was a bit more difficult for her. Aelita's dexterity had improved since arriving, but this required 'earth physics'.

And Aelita... Aelita was a bit of a sore loser.

"Lets try another round."

As for darts... She was just plain dangerous. Her aim wasn't great and even when she nearly hit the board it'd bounce off and-

"EPP-!" She'd diving out of the way. At least she can dodge even she can't throw for peanuts.

Mayaka can be found by the bar, studying the long list of drinks available. While she has no plans to try the cocktail menu, there's still a lot of options. She'll turn to the Pokemon next to her and ask: "What're you having?"

She'll also be scrutinizing the dartboard on the wall, which she'd made with Cedric's help. Did she get the colours right (they used red and black paint, and forget to include green) and is the board even drawn correctly (there are no numbers on the outer ring to indicate points)? The gist of the game is there, even with these imperfections, but Mayaka is definitely glaring at the dartboard and wondering if she could have done a better job.

As for anyone who decides to play a round of darts, Clue, or stacking logs with her, it will become apparent that the Sneasel can get rather competitive when she loses to someone else.

First it was convincing Aelita to not have booze and go for the soda instead, now it was prevent Aelita from grievously harming herself with the darts board. It truly was stunning of a sight to behold when the dart bounced right back and nearly got Aelita.

"Hey Aelita, want to take a break from the dart board? I got arare if you'd like to try it out?"

Let's see if Dolly can skillfully dodge having a clinic visit happen under her watch...Dolly can sense the ever looming presence of Nurse Chansey in the back of her mind.

The dartboard is definitely the gem of the bar, there was no questions about it in Dolly's eyes. Dolly was still waffling a bit on what to name the dartboard, it simply had to be given a name. Darts Vader and Dart-thy Gale being the two she was waffling between.

Puns was gonna happen simply on principle, there was no compromise.

"Bigby and I cannot thank you or Cedric enough for the Dartboard. It's absolutely perfect in here."

[ Naturally Odile attends the bar opening! Partially because Dolly is a friend of hers (friendly acquaintance? Odile's not good with these things) and partially because...gems, honestly she just needs a drink after some of the things that go on around here.

For a while, she simply leans against the bar. She samples the dandelion wine first, commenting to anyone nearby. ]

This is good. I didn't even know Siffrin knew how to make wine.

[ They were holding out on her! After that, she'll move on to sampling the other wines available. The cocktails look interesting as well, but she can't get to all of this at once! She's not even sure of her own alcohol tolerance in this new body! Maybe she'll just get blitzed and go tell that Togepi to fuck off! In the meantime, though: ]

Parvati Holcomb is very much not a drinker. She's not too sure why she's here at all, other than needing a break from her work and being friends with the hosts. She lived opposite the bar back in Edgewater and that was nothing short of miserable most nights. The Lost Hope aboard the Groundbreaker was marginally better, occupied by freelancers and the like between long-haul trips or the Mardets who'd just clocked out. She'd hoped to spend an evening there with Junlei, sometime. And now she's just sad thinking about it. Maybe this wasn't a good idea. The Tinkaton sits on one of the cushions with a peach iced tea, gingerly sipping between doing other things.

If she'd had any free time at all she would have offered a billiards table.

She's mostly going to hang out with the games, noticeably confused by the rules of most of them. Log stacking is simple enough, at least, but she has an unfair advantage on account of knowing how things stick up. Maybe she'll try darts. Who knows.

[ Too late Odile, you're part of this friend group with Dolly. You have her blessings to go after Togepi's rotten ass, mistakes were definitely made when Dolly invited him over. ]

I was pretty impressed too with Siffrin's wine making skills along with the bitters. The bitters that was made by them is insanely strong.

[ There was that and the second brutal murder of Bigby through vicious flirting by Siffrin. It was a pretty big day of learning many new things. ]

The dartboard was definitely proving to be the most popular game in the room next to the log stacking game. Mayaka and Cedric really did outdo themselves with the creation of that game, that was for certain.

It would also be true to say Dolly was pretty relieved to see that there wasn't any wildly competitive behavior from Parvati. Though, hind sight is twenty twenty, Dolly and Bigby should've made a mini billiards table. It would've been perfection.

"Hey Parvati, I'm glad that you made it to the party." Dolly chirped from behind the bar she was running.

[ Fun and games aren't usually Bigby's scene, but a bar definitely is. After helping set up, he settles behind the counter, offering a pour or two to whoever asks. Maybe even offering himself a pour of the same while he's at it. Just one of the perks of learning the menu from Dolly and Shuckle beforehand.

While in the middle of cleaning a cup, he glances over at you, a patron in this fine establishment. ]

Just a second. [ He sets it down to dry. Despite not having experience as a bartender — or even with customer service in general — he seems oddly comfortable with the whole thing. With a light sigh, he leans an elbow on the counter. ] Sorry. Been a pretty busy night. What're you trying?

[ Bigby isn't particularly good at pacing himself, much less know how. Not like he's ever had to when he can't normally get drunk to begin with, and most functions here have been more limited in what they'd provide. Here, he has full reign, and he's definitely been taking advantage more than he should have.

Eventually, it creeps up on him, and he's stumbling and bumping into this and that, including one Togepi who he's been dying to go off on from the start. Even if this time it was his own damn fault. He's just getting real sick of that dude. Someone has to give that asshole a piece of his mind, but before this turns into an actual bar fight, Bigby's ears perk straight up, immediately distracted by whoever just walked by. ]

Huh— hey. You made it.

[ Never mind if you've been here long. Never mind if you've already talked to Bigby earlier. ]

It's nice, right? Lotta work went into it. [ Sniffles. He's fine. He's cooling off. ] You see the dartboard? It's... it's nice, right?

[ He's really excited about the dartboard. So much so, he might be nudging this conversation toward it. Mayaka and Cedric made it! For them! For this! ]

We should play a round. No one's using it.

[ Maybe he should just sit down for a bit, actually. That Togepi still looks like he has something to say. ]

Yeah, because I'm just dying to go talk to Loophole. They'd probably say something like... [In a near-perfect impression of Siffrin, he says:] Grape joke, Sunshine~! Though I think you could use a little more raisin before you spend time at a bar!

Darts were never going to work out. Aelita needed both arms to throw one, that it was able to bounce was a miracle. But she liked counting the points... if she'd gotten any......

She shook herself. Looking up at the voice.

"What's arare?"

A tragedy that Aelita and the dartboard could never truly be, she could've been a darts champion had she had the arms for it. Upside, looking up, it's Dolly at the bar!

"It's a nice little snack made from rice flour and has a soy sauce glaze on them. Would you like to try it out?"

Dolly goes to gently pass the bowl of arare over to Aelita to try if she comes up to the bar.

[ sorry, bigby. eleanor's having a hard time taking you all that seriously given her more dignified images of bartenders from back home. ]

You said I could try something if you kept an eye on me, right? Come on, you owe me that. [ she's already on her third shirley temple, to be fair. she's been patient. ]

Man, does she feel out of place just being here. At least nobody's real drunk yet? She could deal with Nyoka but she can't deal with six Nyokas. "I'm, uh. Glad? Too?"

At least there's a decent amount of soft drinks available - most times Parvati'd be stuck with water. Shame there's no apple juice... "Usually I only get water as an option at drinkin' holes like this."

It was refreshing not to be dealing with any drunks yet, the only real thing Dolly had to deal with was the absolutely heinous Togepi in the bar...why of why did no one warn her about Togepi?

"I'm thrilled to hear that and I'm glad you saw the iced tea selection. How has the printing press been so far?"

Dolly was fully interested and excited about the printing press that Parvati has been working on.

[ parvati was on her way out, if you'd believe it. she's really not one for big social gatherings and she really can't handle when people are drunk. nyoka was all right, after a while, but she had the entire crew to help mitigate her friend's alcohol problems. there was a reason she spent most of laios' party back in november outside. ]

I don't know if that's a good idea, Bigby. You might hurt yourself.

Parvati shrugs. "It's coming along, should hopefully be done before the month's out?"

She's not good at keeping to deadlines, though. So that's up in the air and probably won't quite happen. But once the first one is done, the second one she's planning won't take nearly as long to turnaround. She swirls her drink absently.

The atmosphere has been pretty nice and calm with all things considering, no drunks yet as well as being being quiet. Dolly hadn't even needed to break out the cotton balls for her ears yet, though, still misses having her sound cancelling headphones.

"Parvati, that's pretty amazing with how far along you're at with the press." Dolly is very excited by that one before noticing the stirring. "Oh, do you need any tea refills or a new glass?"

Well enough. No terrible injuries lately. I'm going out with Siffrin later this month, though, so we'll see.

[ Her luck is bad, but on a broader scale it's still a lot better than theirs! ]
