bladeofnymeia: (all this thinking gives me a headache)

Two. Two whole wars.

[She's kind of forgotten the game, too, which is fine - the other Pokemon seem to be interested in sharing opinions on how to best enjoy a bowl of soup if you have no hands to grasp the bowl.]

Teledji's schemes made us flee for our lives, finding safety only in Ishgard. They'd been at war with dragons for one thousand years, and...we usually end up falling into trouble, my friends and I. So we found a way to resolve the conflict.

[She sounds tired when she says it, though - shit was not easy. It's a long story.]

And then once things were finally, properly on the mend, Ilberd - he was also part of Teledji's scheming - he comes back to lead an ambush on Baelsar's Wall, knowing full well the people he's whipped into a frenzy are going to be slaughtered, all to use their last gasps of fury and fervor to turn himself into a Primal borne of their rage. And all that, to push the Eorzean Alliance to follow after, into Ala Mhigo, to liberate them from the Garlean Empire.

[A pause.]

We had to go to the Far East and liberate Doma to get Ala Mhigo's freedom back on track. But, we managed it.

[Again - reliving these events, and she sounds so tired. But through it all, there's a sad little smile. Like there was something in all of this turmoil, in every event, that was still found to be good.]
