U-um...

[She flushes softly. Haven't really given this much thought before! As if there was ever time. But she closes her eyes and thinks on it now, reaching back to those moments when her heart was full and words, at the time, could not describe it.

What she says comes slowly, picked through and examined in her mind's eye before shared.]


...They would have to care. Not just about something, but about others. But, having a cause or interest they dedicate themselves to is...appealing. And if they had a strength of heart about them. But also a gentleness? And a willingness to understand their own shortcomings, and a want to improve. And...maybe...hm. Maybe to be willing to look the fool if needs be? Gods know I've made a fool of myself many a time.

[Just absolutely falling face first into mechanics and getting yeeted across the battlefield on the regular will humble even the mightiest hero.]

But even then - to rise again, after falling. To never give up, even until the last, and to see things through no matter the cost.

[So you're saying Determination is Sexy.]

Zenos had many of these things. But no gentleness resided in his heart, no care for anything outside the thrill of battle against ever stronger opponents. To hear him at first was to feel the need to shelter others from his thirst for blood. And then to hear him at the last brought understanding...but certainly not anything appealing in that regard.
