[Conrad does his best to prepare himself, but he's still not quite ready when that paw swipes at him. He takes it on the cheek and, yeah, that stings and leaves a mark. He retaliates with a flurry of smacks from his little pink hands. They aren't exactly strong hits, but probably enough to eat up some hit points, he supposes.
