Oran Berry Sleepover 2.0

Who: Oran Berries and honestly anyone else who wants to sneak in. No rules, just right.
What: It's time to force everyone into the same room again for the traditional human bonding ritual.
Where: The Spire
When: Early June
Warnings: Possible coma mentions, will add more if things come up.

"It might be time for another sleepover."

[It's hard for an Oran Berry member to say no to ~~Mom~~ Mightyena, so you can bet A.B.A has taken this suggestion to heart. At least this time around, most people are aware of her intentions, and she was smart enough to mention her plans ahead of time.

She is, however, still recovering. Despite her dislike for admitting weakness, she's reached out to her fellow guildmates in hopes to find help in herding everyone together for her. Possibly even you! Let's cure loneliness together and make sure no one sleeps by themselves tonight!]

[ooc: This is a mingle style log! Feel free to make a top level and tag around! Although this is happening in The Spire, I honestly don't care if Pokémon from other guilds have heard the news and wanna sneak in on this. Everyone deserves to experience the joy that is being crammed into the same room as a bunch of other people.]

A. Let's go

[As it was one of the first things Mightyena told A.B.A when she awoke from her coma, she's been determined to get people back into the same room again. Hearing that a good chunk of Pokémon separated since she succumbed, it broke her heart more than you can imagine. Mostly because it meant that her precious ~~dolls~~ sleeping companions went off and left her. Nobody leaves her! How...how could they?! How could they willingly break her heart like that-

Well. She could be angrier about it, but after her grumpearl announcement, it would appear that most were eager to gather up again. ...Good. There's less punishment that way. All that's left, then, is the actual gathering.

If you're asleep, you may feel a strange presence hovering above you. Opening your eyes reveals a very sleepy Silvally tilting her head at you, as if she's expecting something. And she is. Your compliance.

If you're awake, possibly wandering the tunnels, she'll stop you in your tracks. Regardless of how you meet, it always ends the same.]

You're coming with me.

[If you're a small Pokémon, she might even just pluck you and carry you like a tiny kitten. Those who have done this song and dance before may notice how...low energy she is this time around. She's definitely tired, so the faster you comply, the faster she can go back to bed. You wouldn't...keep her from going back to bed, would you?]

B. Used rest

[And as promised, once enough people have been thrown into the same room, and A.B.A is satisfied with how many volunteer Pokémon are out getting the others, she'll be curling up in bed. Others have questioned if she'd be able to sleep with so much commotion going on, but anyone who glances at the large Silvally will notice she sleeps like a corpse.

Still...you probably...shouldn't try to wake her on purpose.

But maybe you want to cuddle? She sure is big, and surprisingly fluffy. Look how peaceful she is, all snoozed up and not making death threats. It's probably fine!]

C. Wildcard

[For anything else!]

[With so many people being wrangled into the same rooms, Akechi is on high alert. His feathers are puffed up, making him look even more like a big, fluffy ball than usual.

Right now, he's perched on the edge of his and Ren's nest, with its own custom-made pillow and other goods that are theirs. Specifically theirs. He's shuffling a round the circumference, occasionally beating his wings to look more intimidating.

This may be a bit ridiculous, given that he's the size of a volleyball, but he has a reason for this!]

You are welcome to stay in this room, but this nest is strictly reserved for Ren and myself. We're partners, and he already has chronic pains. Cramming others within this space will not make it better.

[Feel free to contest or engage or other shenanigans, but he is being very, very stubborn and huffy. Those territorial bird instincts are strong.]

i. for those reluctant few

[A.B.A has sent him on a fetch quest to cat heard the rest of those Oran Berries that aren't keen on joining them. Of course, Dark Heart himself would be one of those Pokemon if he wasn't tasked with it. Somehow this loops back around to willingness.

He's going to darken the door of each occupied den and say;]

Maybe you didn't hear about our little party.

ii. fun and games

[He had a splendid time with Shoka last sleepover (don't tell anyone, not even Dark Heart) and, well, he can't resist the allure of a secret or two.]

What say we play a little game? Two truths and a lie, maybe?

iii. wildcard

[you know the drill-- pick a card, any card!]

[Dark Heart settles in with A.B.A, not exactly eager to get his rest when he's gotten so much of it the past month. Besides, he needs to cash in his nightly compliments.]

Picked up the scraps for ya.

[Said scraps being the Pokemon tugging at their metaphorical leashes as he drags them to the damn sleepover. Might be easier if he had, I don't know, a bag with a little pocket dimension to shove everyone into. Another life. Anyway, if he has to be here so does everyone else.]

Oh, I don't intend to.

[It's less out of a respect for boundaries and moreso that it's too... touchy-feely for his own taste. Love? Blegh.]

You seem to have it all figured out, hm?

—the fuck.

[ Turning a corner into A.B.A in the middle of the night is definitely one way to jump scare him. He'd seen her over the network a few times since arriving, but the massive size difference in-person instantly makes him defensive, and not to mention, more than a little peeved that he just dropped the food he managed to sneak out of the kitchen. There goes his midnight snack run. ]

Wh-what? [ It takes a second to register. He looks just as tired as her, his eyes starting to glow a faint red in the dark. They’re not exactly bloodshot. ] No. I'm busy.

[ His ears suddenly drop, somehow sensing something with his prey instinct. He's just. Going to take a preemptive step back. ]

1. here's technus! (wildcard)

[Technus is very excited for the sleepover! It's like a Christmas Truce to him, except not on Christmas, which is good because he doesn't particularly care for Christmas anyways. He buzzes in excitedly.]

2. grand introductions

[For those of you who don't know Technus, he'll very quickly make himself known, floating up to you.]

HELLO! I AM TECHNUS-

[And then he'll give one of his titles. Ghost Master of Science and Electrical Technology, Master of All Things Mechanical, Master of Technology, Manipulator of Machines, Lord of all Gadgetry, Wizard of Integrated Circuitry, Master of All Things Electronic and Beeping, Duke of Devices, Genius of Gadgetry, Architect of the Digital Realm...

He has so many self-given titles that practically everyone gets to hear a unique one when he introduces himself to them.]

[The worst part of a sleepover? Having to be quiet while other people sleep. Especially for Technus, who has a hard time controlling his volume.]

[Ingo attends the sleepover without any complaint! It's not so crowded, really, and he likes spending time with his guildmates! He does take up more space than nearly everyone else himself, being one of the larger Pokemon present, so he settles down a little ways away from everyone else when he arrives. Should anyone approach him, though, he says:]

Oh - I apologize, but this is Emmet's spot as well.

[The two of them have been staying together since the first sleepover; they may as well continue.

During the sleepover itself, he'll gladly chat with people and participate in whatever games go on! Anyone can approach him whenever, though for those who haven't met him before, he might look rather unapproachable. Seems like that resting bitch face sticks around no matter what.

If he's starting the conversation, he just comments to whoever:]

We ought to have events like this more often!

Ooh, a sleep-over. Are we going to summon demons? Thats normal girl sleepover things.

One could see her going around talking to people, checking in on them, but also, they would notice she has chosen a spot near the wall to set up her supplies for the sleepover.

Nice and safe, and she could watch everyone. Also, she was finding the middle ground between Ingo and Emilo (Emmet) and Akechi. She didn't want to seem needly after all!

[This guy looks interesting. Bigger than most everybody, too... so of course Technus zips over to talk to him.]

HELLO! I AM TECHNUS, GENIUS OF GADGETRY! WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

[ As another one of the larger Pokemon present (the same size as a certain Typhlosion, in fact), Emmet is doing his best to fold himself into a more accommodating shape, lanky limbs and all. Sorry about all the ghost fur, though, it just Does That, but if nothing else it's not seeming too billowy tonight? It might just get into your space anyway, considering. How cramped is the fit this fine night, anyway?

In any case, it does mean he's not going to be moving around the room too much to mingle once he gets in and settles into his spot near Ingo, simply because it might mean jostling or getting his mane into too many people's faces— but he'll cheerfully welcome anyone coming to him with a smile, at least. And if anyone wants to chat or rope Emmet into any games he'll happily join in.

He also may or may not have helped round up some of the stragglers at A.B.A's request. Who's to say. Feel free to bitch at him for that if it so pleases you. In fact, if anyone seems particularly reluctant or resigned about being here, he might just grin and offer up a none-too-sympathetic: ]

You miiiiight want to get used to this kind of thing. A.B.A can be quite insistent.

[ That's one word for it, maybe! ]

[This is the first other ghost Technus has seen who's obviously a ghost at first sight. So... he peeks his head through Emmet's fur, grinning.]

DO YOU THINK THE GUILD LEADER IS ROUNDING UP ALL US GHOSTS BEFORE THE TEAPOT CAN GET US?

A.B.A doesn't recognize this one, is he new? She's fairly certain she'd remember something so small and cute... His little potato sack-shaped body reminds her so much of her early attempts at crafting dolls, so round and simple. He's precious.

Too bad his attitude isn't.]

It would appear you misunderstood... You don't get a choice in the matter.

[And to demonstrate, A.B.A scruffs the tiny Bigby in her beak like it's nothing.]

[Truly Dark Heart was made to gather small, adorable mascot animals together.

A.B.A looks down at him, still weary thanks to her health, but holding her head high in an attempt to look less ragged than she really is.]

Good. Your methods were clearly effective, I'll keep this in mind next time the others decide to leave me.

[ Bigby has resigned himself to not getting any sleep tonight. So, sure. Games. Whatever. ]

This isn't Conrad's first slumber party adventure. He's been roped into this before. He still doesn't get the appeal of everyone sleeping together in one room and, well, usually there's not a whole lot of sleeping going on. He'll try to hunker down in some bedding, trying not to touch anyone else.

"Oh, not this again..." he grumbles, mostly to himself, but he'll complain to anyone within earshot. He's maybe a little tired and would just like to go to sleep, already. "Aren't we all a little too old for this?"

Even though he's rather in a mood, if anybody approaches him he could chat until he drifts off. Or if someone is really persistent he could be talked into a game.

"Um, okay, have you played would you rather? It's pretty simple... For example, ah, would you rather find true love or win the lottery? Or would you rather be a vampire or a werewolf?" And he shrugs as it's an easy enough game to figure out. Hopefully he won't regret agreeing to play.

[ Oh. He hates this.

Slowly, he lowers himself onto all fours, that gut feeling worsening with each passing second. His eyes narrow at A.B.A’s words, not even bothering with a response before he turns to run in the opposite direction. But he doesn’t even get far before he feels his little paws leave the ground altogether. Up he goes, scruffed yet again by a complete stranger.

He really hates this. ]

Fuck off. I said I was busy!

[ He squirms against her hold, trying to bap at her beak from behind but failing to reach every time. He's growling too, as if that makes him look any more intimidating. ]

I don’t even know who you are! Let me go!

[ Well, that’s different than expected. Suddenly, he’s a little more interested than before.

He gives Dark Heart a particular look, as if trying to place him, but ultimately falls short. ]

You sure don’t sound like Goldilocks to me, so let’s go with that. The bears — that’s the lie.

[Oh, doesn't he look pleased as punch? Dark Heart's tail sways back and forth, smiling devilishly. Is it a cat-like grin if it's on a Nickit's face?]

Oh, I only wish. They're little pests.
