Beyond the City
Who: Akechi, Ren, Doc
What: Exploring beyond the city.
When: Sometime in February
Warnings: Spooky forest vibes, aggressive Pokémon, and... mushrooms. Oh my!
The cover of the trees blocks out the sun, enshrouding the group in Shadow. Akechi flies low for now, partially to a void alarming his teammates and partly as backup, should anything dangerous strike.
Before they even make it too far, one thing becomes clear: The paths meander, with dense foliage strewn about. It'd be easy to get lost if they aren't careful, so Akechi gives his teammates a contemplative look.
"We may want to mark our path with claw marks. Something distinct enough to distinguish our marks from wild Pokémon." He lands beside Ren, humming. "Perhaps the Mightyena-san's likeness?"
Normally, he'd suggest the Phantom Thieves emblem, but with Doc here, it's best to keep a universal symbol they all recognize.

"That's a good plan. It doesn't have to be accurate, just recognizable enough to know it's us," he says, before turning to Doc. "Can you use your claws to do that?" They're the longest, after all. There's a part of him that wants to do it himself... but moreso, it's an instinct he's not familiar with telling him to mark his territory, sharpen his claws. No, he's not sure he could easily scratch even a fascimile of Mightyena into a tree.
