[With the help of the rope and Cedric, Siffrin is able to heave the Furfrou partially onto their back, just to keep them from being scraped across every rock on the way.]

[Which doesn't make Cedric's continued help pulling any less appreciated - Furfrou's back half is still being dragged, and the extra layer of fur draped over Siffrin's back makes the heat even worse. The faster they get out of here the better.]

[In between panting to try and cool off, Siffrin's ear twitches.] Wand? Like a wizard's wand...?

[The fluffy dog thing looks heavy, so he does his best to hold up the weight from the back half as best he can. It's awkward with the angle, but the rope and his flight helps some.

The question takes him off guard, almost forgetting he had mentioned his wand in the first place.] Oh- yes, you could say that. I'm a sorcerer... or, was, anyway, before I was brought here wand-less and thumb-less...

I guess some place out there had to have wizards. Or sorcerers.

[Don't even get them started on not having thumbs, though. They get it.]

You think your magic would still work, if you had your wand?

[He knows some worlds have no magic at all, but he thought with the hat that maybe...

Either way, he lets out a fatigued Hm at the question.] I don't see why not. I could use it fine in any animal form back home, there's no reason to believe I can't here. With any hope, I have not been stripped of my magic capabilities, simply the resources.

[He doesn't just hope, he prays. He doesn't want to even humour the alternative, that spells many potential bad things. Not the least of which what he will do upon his (hopeful, eventual) return to Enchancia.]

Not real ones, or real magic. [Only stories!] We all just had Craft, kind of like the Pokemon here.

[What an inexplicable statement that they seem to think is perfectly self-explanatory.]

[Though, maybe Wish Craft counts as... no, they're not thinking about that.]

[They haven't seen anyone else using magic that doesn't fit into one of the Types here... but then again, they suppose they haven't seen anyone with a wand either! So who knows. Maybe that's how it works.]

[Yep, that's definitely a misinterpretation. Perhaps his excuse is that he's putting most of his focus on hauling the other half of this dog; for fuzzy heart shapes, they feel incredibly dense.]
