[ Had this been told outside of the current situation, Dolly would've thought it had come from an old anthology show from the sixties she had enjoyed. However, this was different and a lot more concerning. ]

Or do they recall what they were doing before they disappeared the first time?

I believe the recollection depended entirely on who they interacted with at a given time. The same applies to the Phantump that went missing prior...

[And now here they are, searching for a Furfrou that may very well be unconscious and likely to go missing again.

Still, Akechi keeps moving forward. For now, it's all they can do.]

How strange...

[ It makes her wonder what would happen if only one group ever rescued them. Would they go missing again permanently, or would they spontaneously go back to have been saved? ]

Has anything like that ever happened to anyone who isn't currently in a coma?

[ Right, so this isn't a second time, possibly three, more? The only thing that isn't giving Dolly any sort of red flags was no lives were lost or gone missing entirely.

What she understood was multiple disappearances, odd phrases, and being in a deep slumber before waking up with some odd memory selections. ]

[ What exactly was missing here? ]

Should we assume with Furfrou that they'll be unconscious when we find them?

It's a possibility we must consider, if nothing else.

[It's chilly here, but little by little, they make their way closer to the Lakebed Ruins. Perhaps they'll finally get some clarity here?]

[ Odile slows as they approach, turning her attention to the terrain. Interesting as the conversation is, they are still on a mission. ]

I hope we don't have to haul them back.

[ She's probably the most suited to carry someone here, being bipedal and not a tiny orb of fluff. It's a sad state of affairs when Odile's responsible for heavy lifting... ]

If we see a fallen birch, we could take the bark off and use it as a makeshift sleigh if that is the case.

[ Hop, hop, hop goes Dolly with the tiny legs in the snow as she follows along. She now knew how Curly felt with the snow... ]

That's not a terrible idea. It'd be easier if we had rope to work with, but my satchel can only hold so much at a given time.

[And he is small, so that further limits the size. It's not as though he has a bag of holding...

Luckily, there appears to be a partially fallen tree up ahead. It's bent rather awkwardly down the middle, with some loose but large branches strewn about at its base.

I hope you aren't planning on having me pull it.

[ Her tone is dry. It's hard to tell how serious she actually is. Regardless, she keeps moving, eyes sharp. No need to worry about a sledge until they find Furfrou. ]

Sweet Mac Lir, no. We'll all be helping out with the pulling should that be the case.

[ Well that and hoping it isn't going to be a frozen solid Furfrou...that would be incredibly depressing to encounter. Upside, Dolly didn't get volunteered for acting as the rope with the ribbon feelers...that would be painful..it looks painful.]

The question is, do we stop to fashion the wood now, or scout ahead for Furfrou first? There are pros and cons to each approach...

[Stopping to fashion a makeshift sled means leaving Furfrou to their own devices, when they might need urgent care. It's not an easy decision to make.]

[ Odile shakes her head. ]

We should scout ahead. Making a sled is useless if we don't find them. When we do, if we still need it, one of us can stay to keep an eye on them and the other two can go make preparations.

[ Judging from how she looks at the both of them, Odile intends herself and Dolly to be on sled-making duty there. Akechi's a tiny bird, she's not actually sure how helpful he'd be...besides, he's been here longest. He has the most battle experience, should anything try to go after an unconscious Furfrou. ]

[ Akechi made a strong point, Furfrou likely is an easy target for predation to happen. Scouting ahead is a good plan of action given the circumstances. ]

Right, scouting ahead is the prudent course of action at this moment. Out of us, who would be the fastest to scout ahead? If one of us can reach Furfrou quicker, that would improve their odds of survival.

[ Well that and Furfrou likely has been out in the cold for an indeterminate amount of time, frostbite could potentially be setting in or hypothermia. ]
