[ It actually sounded as though the King intended to stop there. But as curious as Odile tends to be, she never would have had the patience to try interrogating him. That man needed to die. ]

He told you about the King, then?

[ How much, exactly? She very much doubts that any version of Siffrin has been running around talking about that most recent loop - which is the only one she knows anything about. What story are other people hearing? ]

[Who's this "he"...? Oh, right, the other Siffrin uses those pronouns in addition to they/them. That answers another one of his questions. No wonder Loophole was so upset!]

Yup. What a real nasty piece of work. Good thing Siffrin put him out of his misery, right?

I don't know, I might have liked to see a little more misery for him.

[ Joking, but also really not! Also, hm. Clearly one of the loops, if Siffrin was that involved in the fight, but they obviously couldn't have defeated that man entirely on their own. Landed the final blow, maybe? ]

Gee! Sounds like none of you had any mercy for the old fool. [She doesn't entirely seem like she's joking. How interesting.] ... sounds about right, from what I know! Siffrin told me a fun thing or two about you.

[ She has her doubts about whether her...hm, less-than-merciful attitude towards the King was actually involved. Still, she's curious. ]

[Wow, this lady really doesn't give up information or get frustrated easily! He has to recognize a true master of bullshit when he sees one.

As for the things Siffrin told him-- it's between zero and none. He remembers seeing the specter of Odile and their friends during Halloween, and he remembers some of Siffrin's assorted memories from the time they saw into each others minds. (You know, as one does.)

Still, she doesn't have to know that. He tries one last attempt to get under her skin.]

Oh, just a little about your 'research'. How's your progress, anyway?

[Notably, this version of Siffrin did not see her find the familytale. Thus, he has assumed she's some kind of tortured academic who's in the Archives because she's madly seeking answers.]

It was going well, actually! Though of course it's had to be put on hold.

[ She waves a claw at the book she's reading, a guide to Pokemon native to the area. Obviously Pokemon weren't her previous "area of research", she'll give him that one for free.

(She’s quite sure Siffrin knows the truth of that. Flowey must have gotten this from...well, the other Siffrin. ]

[Flowey has the distinct feeling that he's losing the conversation, which is absolutely a normal thing for him to think.]

Yeah. Of course. [It makes sense that one of Siffrin's friends would be just as annoying as them.] Well, good luck with all that.
