He still does see them around often, of course! Most still live in the Highlands!

"I do enjoy helping travelers!" Ingo muses. Really, he enjoys most aspects of his work; maybe it's tough, but that's just fine. "Some of it was quite like the missions we have here, though there were far fewer. There are not so many people in the roads in Hisui, and we did not have anything like Pearls to spread information."
