"You can set that up after we finish the railings," Bouffalant says gruffly, before turning to call out the same instructions to others in the vicinity.

Mayaka clicks her tongue, slightly frustrated. "So disruptive. Guess we'll have to work on this after that. Shall we head over, Hatenna-chan?"

At least it's not so bad to have company doing work like this.

She waits until Bouffalant is properly out of earshot before murmuring. "They could stand to be a little more grateful..."

But she's not about to start an argument; being helpers in the project just means that despite the orders, they'll have flexibility later.

More importantly, she still has to make a good impression on her teammate. Even if it's a slight frustration shared, that's not a bad thing, if they're in similar minds about it.

"But, if it's pressing, there must be a reason why we may be more suited to prioritizing that instead..."
