"We did! They may be carried by courier or by Pokemon!" Ingo has never sent anything by courier. Pokemon can just come and go more easily, and he has more than enough friendly options around. He'd only ever use a human's service, he thinks, if he sent a letter abroad.

He never had a reason to do so before. He supposes he still doesn't, really. There's nothing for him in past Unova.

"That sounds so old school," Mayaka says with a chuckle.

Between the conversations and rests in between, they've almost made it to the clinic.

"Looks like we're almost there. I don't think I've ever been to the clinic for a check-up before. Just dropped once by pass something to Doctor Takahashi."

Ingo snorts lightly. "If you tell them that, they will likely wish for you to have a check-up as well!" Frankly, he doesn't think that's a terrible idea; that's partially why he's bringing it up at all.

"What? I feel completely fine!"

That said, a second opinion might observe that she's got a couple of nicks and scratches from the fight. The little Sneasel has been too preoccupied with Ingo to notice herself.

Ingo chuckles. He knows she's not entirely fine. He also knows that if he were in her shoes, he'd probably just walk it off. But she is not accustomed to battle; she should get herself looked at.

"Nonetheless! Safety is paramount!"

Mayaka huffs before saying, "Alright, alright."

Ingo's starting to sound like a well-meaning uncle at this point. She can't bring herself to turn down his chipper yet insistent care.

"Excellent! Let us be on our way, then!" Mission achieved~! Ingo was going to the clinic anyway, of course, but he feels a little more productive turning it into a team trip.

Mayaka nods, quietly appreciating his company. It seems that Ingo just happened to be the right partner for her first experience in a real fight.

Though her mood feels lighter, she's still task-oriented: "You need to show me how it works once we reach the clinic. I hope the wait times aren't too long. But we need to get you checked first, okay?"
