January+February+March Catch-All
Who: Siffrin + Noelle, Cater, Anasui, Archnemon, Kinger
What: Has this Shinx ever baked in their life (and other misadventures)
Where: Around town, the clinic, in the woods, maybe more later
When: January, February, March
Warnings: Potentially Siffrin's warnings (but probably just the low self-esteem in this one)

Still it's another level of irritating to be handed that note. It doesn't mean anything, but she doesn't want to keep it, either, and being a psychic type unfortunately came with certain side effects like having funny hunches about things. Like how she shouldn't even be surprised, that when getting close enough to this tree - and she was cautious too, to find one in the vicinity that wasn't already laden down with scraps of other people's papers, to find this one.
Maybe it's because the vibes weren't as strong as they usually were that she didn't pinpoint the shinx's nearby location clearly. She'd registered the presence, just not the vicinity... and as soon as she hears that tone she squints upward. Another tree, maybe? She really didn't want to carry this around for longer than needed. Or give them the satisfaction of her obvious annoyance, but it was too late for that... ]
Oh, do you really have nothing better to do than to sit around like that?

[The question seems to have prompted them to sprawl out on their tree branch as if it's the most comfortable spot in the world, even though they're clearly holding themself stiffly, particularly around their ribs...]
Don't you have something better to do than checking trees?

[ She speaks while carefully moving over to the next tree, still conveniently close, to find leverages in the wood to get a foothold and look for the next branch with her hair. It gives her a better view of just how they're holding themselves. ]
Might end up back in the clinic that way.
[ Could be observation, could be veiled threat. ]

[Which, funnily enough, has been happening... but:]
So only if my luck is worse than yours!
[They're not sure how much they actually believe their fortune - for some reason, they'd expect it to come true more if it were a bad one? But that's not going to stop them from being annoying about it!]

[ Hm, here's a suspiciously empty branch... though she can see navigating to it might be a little tricky. Such a silly tradition, but now it's a task to get over with. ]
Though you're just making yourself more of a target.
[ On purpose? Hard to tell with that one, but who knew if one of those 'Miniors' would crash on their location... ]

[They don't seem to be holding a paper slip... but there also definitely aren't any tied to the tree they're in. (Yet.) Maybe they've just tucked it into their hat.]
That's lightning, itsy.

[ Said casually, as if she isn't envisioning them getting hit on the head with a rock or anything for bringing up that silly nickname, drudging up an echo of a dream that spurred this all to begin with. Not that the thought makes her feel any better, when she has to focus so much to anchoring herself to this precarious branch. Should have just ignored the paper offering, but well past that now. ]
I'm sure you're lurking out here for some other reason, but by all means, don't let my presence deter you from your view~

[...though they can probably guess.]
Don't worry, I wasn't planning on letting it!
[...]
To your upper left.
[If she listens, there's a good grip there, just barely within reach of her hair. Should they be trusted, though...]

[ Luckily (?) she's far too busy with this ridiculous predicment to mentally check if they have theirs on them to send the projection. Right now it just makes her feel better.
Still, she does hear the offered advise and scrutinizes the branch. It seems harmless, for the most part, but she knows thinking about it too hard in this case won't actually get her anywhere unless she actually takes the action to leap and swing herself up there.
Does... it... hold? She's light enough, at least, even if she has to manuever herself to get into a better position to actually be able to tie the paper. ]

[Siffrin watches her without further comment, tip of their tail twitching. Their sprawled posture is slowly slipping to ease pressure on their ribs.]

Getting down, though... that would need another manuever. This was fine. She pays the shinx no further mind for at least this moment, at least until she can return to a more stable branch. ]
no subject
[They say, despite not having actually played any sort of trick on her...]
I guess it's the tree's bad luck now!
no subject
[ Scoff. More annoyed that she's justifying it to them, of all people. Another careful hop, bringing her closer. ]
It's not as though I believe in it anyway.
no subject
Then why not keep it?
no subject
Of course she doesn't. ]
I've already gotten rid of it, so it doesn't matter anymore~ if it bothers you that much, go get it yourself.

After I was so helpful! I'm hurt!

[ Continuing. Her way. Down. ]

[Not that it stops them from continuing the Bit.]
I may never recover~
