[open] February catch-all
Who: Tomoro Tenma and you! (plus some thread starters arranged with specific individuals)
What: February catch-all
Where: All throughout Bottlecap Bay, including the Archives and Oran Berries' Guild
When: All throughout February.
Warnings: Tomoro being a grump, for one. Warnings will be updated as needed.
Tomoro didn't know what to make of being a member of the Oran Berries. On one level, it was like being part of Glowing Dawn, in that the low-tier housing wasn't exactly much to speak for. On the other hand, at least with the Glowing Dawn he had his own room, and didn't have to share his room with multiple people. It had also been difficult to sleep, what with the sounds of mining and struggling to keep his Electrical powers from going off.
Needless to say, Tomoro was in a bit of a mood those first few days, but he eventually got used to it as time went on. Depending on when you approach him, he may be less or more willing to talk than he first appeared. In most cases, however, he's going to appear preoccupied with something or other, idly banging on the stone surface of the Spire's walls with some sturdy sticks he's using as makeshift drumsticks.
Anyone can tell from listening to him drum that his beat is a little bit off.
Other times, he's out and about in Bottlecap Bay, seeing what kind of things he can find or discover around his new home. He doesn't really search with much purpose—the Toxitricity is just trying to get the lay of the land. Sometimes, while he's wandering around, he'll unintentionally let out a jolt or a use of his Spark attack, upon which he'll hastily beat feet to try and go unnoticed. He really needs to get a handle on these new powers.
Much later, he can be found in the Archives, escorted by a member of the Lum Berries. He's there to learn more about his particular Pokémon species, and potentially, find a way home. He's able to learn quite a lot about what it means to be a Toxitricity, including that the organs on his chest are meant to be used musically, but the latter? Precious little. That seems to only bum him out further.
Other times, he can be caught idly staring at the Questboard. He never ends up taking the initiative on one. The other Glowing Dawn members always decided the bounties, after all. He doesn't really know where to begin, and he hasn't forged many connections yet. But he'll certainly take up space staring at all the quests, yes he will.

locked to Umemiya
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry!" he exclaimed. "This damn place is like a maze...! I got lost trying to find my way back here!"

"Take a moment to catch your breath and cool down before we start."
Around the Canopy
1. Space heater for frozen Pokemon coming in from the cold
2. Messenger, running along the bridges of the canopy to deliver word and the occasional parcel from the watch towers to the offices, particularly things one might not want to say over the pearl network.
It's in the later capacity that the sleek Ninetales comes across Tomoro, as he starts to learn the basic layout of the treehouses and huts and platforms. There's a scent that lingers in the air around her, incense and struck matches, but she otherwise appears unremarkable. Oh, sure, if you know other Ninetaleses, the tips of her tails are a duller, ashy shade of brown in comparison, but she's not doing anything to style her fur or wearing any clothing.
"Are you lost?" It's her first guess, on seeing a new arrival traversing the vine bridges.
at the spire
The Brionne comes up behind him as if she were a ghost, tilting her head to the side. She hasn't been as totally socialable with her guildmates as she would have liked these past few months, so there's little point in not shooting her shot while she's in a good mood. "Maybe do it somewhere else, though. The structural integrity of this place is questionable at best and it'd be dreadful if you took out a load-bearing wall."
She pushes herself up onto her tail and back down again with a sploot for dramatic emphasis.
in town
As he makes his escape, she Shadow Sneaks soundlessly after him, and when he eventually stops to catch his breath, she's right there beside him, as if she'd been there all along.
"Wow," she says with a tilt of her false cat head. "Hit-and-run much?"
no subject
"So uh...what happened here?"
no subject
"Huh? No, I'm not," he says. "I'm just trying to get the lay of the land. Learn my way around, you know?"
He rubbed the back of his neck, just underneath where the electric "hair" stopped. "Why, did I look lost?"
no subject
He looks perhaps a tad sheepish about that all.
no subject
"I'll try to keep that in mind," he said, annoyed. "And I'm not trying to dig a hole, I'm practicing my drumming!"
Re: in town
"What the heck are you supposed to be?" he asks, unimpressed.

He's still learning about what all the different move types are all about. Grass...resists Electric, but Poison resists Grass, if he remembers correctly.

Her head tilts to the side.
Archives
The voice cuts sharp and nearby, but seems occluded by a stack of books that are neatly stacked in about three piles of varying height. A moment or so passes before the visage of a gray-and-gold-scaled dragon peers between the two tallest towers, a perpetual frown on its face.
He doesn't seem...approachable, but hey, he asked, didn't he? That's nice enough. That's like, half of Kaiba's daily quota for tolerance.
