"There's a move called Infestation that covers someone in tiny bugs, but there's no information on what those bugs actually are. I don't know how to study that without getting hit by the move, though, and I might be a bit too itchy for study."
Maybe he could get someone else to volunteer to get hit with the move. No, no, that's silly. Nobody would agree to that, right?

It's nice to bounce her ideas off of him. He reminds her of a teacher. She really is a nerd to be missing school, isn't she?

It's larger than any tree they had in Hometown. It feels wrong to even try comparing it to anything from her world, sheltered as her perspective was; the thing defies logical understanding. It should be a tree, simple plantlife, but it pulses like a heart. Her heart starts pounding in sync, as if surrendering to it.
Minutes feel like hours. Her eyes actively resist looking at anything else nearby except for the Forest's Heart. Noelle's knees buckle and she struggles to remain conscious.
