[ Closed: Last Time on Haunted Snow Mountain ]
Who: Ingo, Impmon, Guilmon, Archnemon
What: Bounty: FRIGHTENING FREEZE
When: Mid-month Feb
Where: Icefall Lake
Warnings: Probably standard ones considering The Mountain
[ Conflict was almost inevitable when under the constraints of a daunting task.
The team had worked together well up until this point, though concerns were mounting. Getting involved in a scuffle amongst themselves was not on the list, even if it highlighted things they needed to be more mindful of. For the moment, it's almost humorous; the four of them positioned almost in a circle, Ingo hovering above in his concerned way, while Guilmon was carefully holding up a wriggling Impmon still in the midst of working to get back to his senses. Almost all holding their breaths to hope the moment had passed for uncertainty. A further discussion looming ahead. ]
Guilmon, you can set Impmon down now-
[ Archnemon, having been up until now steadily maintaining their mental link to try and minimize their presence while going through the area, suddenly drops it, staggering from the sudden emotional onslaught from much further away than their group. Please hold. ]

Hatenna's entirely correct, though. The pair of them probably cannot handle this alone. They'd have to send a whole other team out, or make a separate venture themselves. Who's to say if they'd even find the target again? Or if they could recover them then? ]
...very well. But please do speak up, in turn, if it becomes too much!
[ He's noticed the wincing! ]

[He's not a Fuecoco or a Charmander, anyway. That should help, right? It's like being Growmon! Just... a lot smaller than Growmon.
Either way, he happily follows Ingo's lead with a surprise cheeriness, given the oppressive atmosphere.]
Hey, didn't they mention a scary monster in the mountains before? Maybe that's what's waiting for us...
no subject
[Wait. That is, uh-]
I'm sure it'll just be a scared Pokemon that needs our help, that's all.
[Yep. Very convincing. He definitely believes that. And isn't missing Beelzemon's power at all...
He's just gonna shut up and follow Ingo now, ready to dig as needed.]

Right... then, consider this a request to board?
[ She hates asking for help, but riding would make everything else she has to worry about easier to concentrate on than having keeping up with a quick moving group to the mix.
The kids though. ]
Either way, this pokemon is clearly not something or someone to be underestimated in the state they must be in. With this... pain... there seems to be a great deal of power as well. If they are potentially responsible for what's been happening here lately.
[ So they might not want to listen...? But they might need help as well. An ironic thought, almost familiar. ]

[ Ingo leans down for Hatenna to board, but he does shoot a glance at the other two as well. He could easily carry Impmon too! He has probably already offered! ]

All aboard, all aboard!
[Here, he'll even crouch down like Ingo.]
AFTER TEN THOUSAND YEARS I'm back to this thread sorry guys
What is this, a friggin' game or somethin'?
[And then continues right along on foot. No need for a ride. Besides, there might be more snow to dig through, so he's no good to anybody sitting on another Pokemon's back.]
no subject
... anyway, the path we need should probably be close if it isn't already blocked off in some way.
[ Which shouldn't be an issue for them to dig through, just more work. ]

[ Ingo seems faintly baffled by Impmon's reaction! What could possibly be funny or silly about train lingo! Regardless, it hardly matters; he presses on. ]
Hold on a moment, Miss Hatenna! I will stand!
[ He rears up onto his hind legs, to his full height. He and Hatenna can have a better view now! ]

[Guilmon's pout fades quickly enough, as he perks up and marches along.]
Climb, climb, climb~ Guilmon can climb!
no subject
[He'll stick to Hatenna's directions and not run off ahead, at least.
Still, as long as the others are all
trying to cooperate and help each otherhorsing around, Impmon is gonna just try to keep an eye on their surroundings, looking for more signs of a way up. Sure, he's a tiny little lad and Hatenna has a better view from up high, but he seems determined not to let silly little things like logic get in his way.]no subject
[ With a little less tension from having to immediately reign in the digimon, it's easier to reassess the area once Ingo helps with that boost. ]
Does anything stick out to you as being a blocked entrance? We might have to wind around a longer route otherwise.
no subject
[ It's a direction to head in, at any rate! ]

[Giggling, Guilmon trudges toward the snow dips, sniffing along the way.]
no subject
[He's not even waiting to investigate further, he immediately scurries up to the dip in the snowbank and starts digging. His companions may not want to stand behind him, because he is not being cautious with where he flings it.]
no subject
Tch - if you get too enthusiastic, you might draw something to us, you know!
[ Not that she's sensing anything else different from what they're tracking- but since she's pushed for the group to continue together she's not complaining too much. Just letting them do their assignment of clearing through that blocked passage. ]
Can you see where it's connecting on the other side yet?
