It seemed like a simple enough job, eat rocks and minerals. Clearly it was a job everyone could participate in, delicious ore nuggets waiting there for the nomming.

Catrina does look at her stubby wax hands in annoyance and jealousy though...she too would love to have murder claws too thank you very much!

Maybe that can be her next quest after the teeth....Catrina needle hands...oh sweet Arceus why!?

Ugh, why him? He's done nothing in his life to deserve this, ever. Even he doesn't believe that, really, but it's what he's telling himself.

"Fine. Just start pickin' up the ore while I dig it out or somethin', an' try not to get hit by what I'm diggin' up."

Thank whatever divine force is overseeing this world as the rock and pinecone diet change is a far...FAR better situation to be in. No one wants to know what Catrina used to eat primarily....

"Fuck yeah, sweet! I can gather the ore and get them organized!" Catrina isn't too concerned with getting knocked in the head by ore, she's made of wax! Clearly being made of wax makes it so she doesn't feel pain (....Catrina that's not how it works...)

Well, he certainly can't fault her enthusiasm, even if it makes no sense.

... also she wasn't wrong, the ore did kinda taste good. Maybe he'd sneak a smallish piece. Who's gonna know? Nobody's gonna know. (They're gonna know.)

No one was going to notice a few ores being missing (They definitely are going to notice some ore being missing). Catrina does as she said she would, getting things organized as the ore comes right on out of the cave via Impmon's digging claws.

Catrina...Catrina is definitely a magically awful candle beast of sorts. Also, delicious ore! It's a win-win situation!

Though Catrina does wonder...

What would crystal eyes taste like...A thought for another day.
