[ It was like a blur, one moment there was the Rabsca using the ever painful Bug Buzz and the next Bigby tackling the Rabsca down to the ground with Take Down before following up with an Ice Fang. Woah...why was Bigby's eyes slowly turning red..?

This was a new one for Dolly goes to get up from her spot, the ear pawing having stopped as Bigby gets knocked off with the Struggle Bug.

The ringing was still there, but it isn't as intense as before as Dolly began to slowly hear Bigby. The Bug Buzz has been stopped as only one ear moves upward to focus more on Bigby. The other ear...well, that one is staying flopped over. She must have pawed too hard at the ear. Maybe it'll be alright? ]

Bigby look out! [ Dolly goes to get up Light Screen for both Bigby and herself, hopefully it blocks the incoming Roll Out. ]

[ Dolly goes to chance a glance to see how Bigby was doing, especially since...red eyes..that was a new one. ]

[ He’s already honed in on the Pokémon hurdling toward them by the time Dolly calls out. Already accepting the brunt of it, he pushes her aside to get her out of harm’s way for now. The light screen at least mitigates some of the damage, though he doesn’t seem to be paying attention to his injuries much.

His movements are sloppy, uncoordinated, but he still manages to get the jump on the thing. Another Crunch to the neck, and he looks about to rip its head off, only for the bug to dissolve back into a Ditto. He spits it out with a growl, then looks at Dolly, not realizing his fur is fully black and purple now. ]

You’re hurt. [ The ear. Of course he notices the ear. ] We gotta get you out of here.

[ Memories of September flashed a bit in the back of Dolly's mind when she first met Bigby, explaining about what happens if he didn't eat enough...was this what he had meant before? Even the fur changed coloration from that toasty campfire s'more to something that made Dolly think of blackberries.

Dolly's now flopped over ear bounced lazily as walks over to Bigby, like her, he was hurt too. Good news though is Dolly can still hear out of the flopped over ear..just it can no longer be moved around... ]

Bigby.. [ As Dolly drew a bit closer, around the bow part of the neck ribbon feelers, a small strawberry shaped bell started to materialize. The ringing of the strawberry bell is soft and gentle, a pretty sounding jingle as it heals only a few injuries. Congratulations, Dolly has learned Heal Bell! ]

[ Even if he should know better, he's blinded by red hot rage, enough to turn back around and keeping fighting more off. If only he was faster, stronger, bigger. He needs to do something, but what gets him to stop is her approaching. ]

Dolly? What are you...?

[ He's felt this before, a rush of energy, not quite like a spike of adrenaline, but a soothing warmth that that settles his mind just long enough to pull back. Suddenly, the aches adding to his anger don't quite feel so bad, and in that moment of clarity, he pauses to remember to eat an Oran Berry he had stashed away.

He sighs to himself as the physical changes revert back. Not quite as good as new, but he never is anyway. ]

You have a healing move too. Can... can you use it on yourself?

[ This was new, Dolly had no idea what she did as the strawberry bell dissolves into sparkles. Dolly did get healed a little bit, there was no more ringing in her ears, but that flopped over ear won't move still... ]

Yeah...I don't think that was Bippitie Boppitie Boop this time though..That was a new one...

[ Okay so that was the thing Bigby had mentioned back in September after Dolly watched Bigby revert back to his full stomach form she's more used to seeing. It sounds like more teams are arriving soon to take over for Bigby and Dolly should they decide to head back to recover.. ]

Are you alright though? You were purple earlier...

Have I even heard that one before?

[ He must’ve. This isn’t the first time they’ve done this sort of quest together. At first, he huffs, quietly amused until the conversation turns back around toward him. With a small frown instead, he looks elsewhere, not wanting to make a big deal of it. ]

Yeah. I’m fine now. [ Bigby glances down to give himself a look over, brushing a bit of dirt and debris from his fur while he’s at. ] Just... have to be more careful.

It may have, back during the Canopy incident over this Mossy Stone? I'm not entirely sure though.

[ Dolly still needs to learn that it's called 'Wish' rather than 'Bippitie Boppitie Boop'. Though, it'll likely be brought up another time as Bigby was right, they both needed to recover from this round with the Dittos. ]

[ Carefully, Dolly extends a ribbon feeler to help brush off Bigby since he did end up having to bite into a Ditto and that looked like an unpleasant texture of sorts. The flopped over ear bops slightly as Dolly tilts her head. ] Still, thank you for doing that for me, I should've been a bit more prepared for sound attacks like that one..

[ His ears flatten as he nods. While the ribbon feeler catches his attention, he doesn't turn down the extra help in getting cleaned up. ]

You couldn't have known. These... things aren't normal. [ With slight scrunch of his nose, he glances warily over at the other parties taking down the hoard. At least they didn't turn into anything — or anyone — else. ] We should get that ear checked though.

[ He holds her feeler in between his paws, his expression a mix of concern and frustration. ]

Sorry I couldn't stop it in time.

Bigby...its not your fault, neither of us saw it coming..

[ The ribbon feeler intertwines gently around Bigby's paws to reassure him. Dolly offered that warm smile, even though her one ear was back to being flopped over. ]

I hope the others know what they're getting into with the Ditto creatures.. [ That is horrifying to think about, Ditto mimicking those that they both know or even each other...Ditto be a scary Pokemon. ] Do you think the slime creatures will return?

[ The Ditto did retreat in an unnerving...where did these weirdoes go..? ]

Probably. Takes a while for wild Pokémon to get the hint.

[ Even if these are the strangest he's seen by far. He lets go of her with a small sigh. ]

Let's just hope they don't come back as one of us. [ As much of a joke as that is, the thought does make his skin crawl. He tries not to think about it, instead motioning for Dolly to follow. ] C'mon. Let's see if the clinic can get that fixed.

[ With the ribbon feelers let go of, Dolly goes to follow Bigby out for the clinic. A shudder ran through Dolly's spine upon the idea of these Ditto creatures mimicking those she knows... ]

Sweet Mac Lir, I hope not, that'd be uncanny and unnerving all in one go. Though, if it does happen, my doppelgänger better be something out of Looney Tunes. That's my only request.

[ Dolly glanced a bit at her flopped over ear, not sure what can be done about it.. ] I hope so too, if anything else, I'll treat you out to one of the cafes afterwards.
