Ah...yes, it can be that way with Pokemon in the wild, in my world! Those who do not wish to deal with humans will usually live much farther from roads and settlements. But we are all quite well aware that the others are intelligent beings! It's much more difficult for a human and a Pokemon who does not live near them to understand one another, simply because they are so unfamiliar, but they would still know there was an understanding that could be reached!
