When she first approached the questboard, Shoka had only been intending to give it the most perfunctory of look-overs. She may be part of a guild now, but a sense of apathy persists; if she has to pick up something to keep her bed in the Spire, she'll just look for the easiest request on the board and half-ass her way through it.
Truthfully, however, one of the quests has caught her eye. One requester name stands out, drawing her eye to it, then inevitably to the quest description itself...
She's only just finished reading it (very carefully, her interest perhaps made obvious by how long she spends standing there, focused and unmoving) when Akechi appears beside her.
"What's it to you?" Her phrasing is as rude as always, but her tone isn't entirely unfriendly. "Looking for somebody to drag along into another one of your investigations?"
