[Oh, bullcrap, Flowey thinks. It would be idiotic for him to believe that this guy- not even a doctor, by the way- could tell the difference between a child and an adult talking sunflower seed.

Although he'd normally have zero reservations about calling this out... he pauses.

Emporio already knows all that he's done, but he has a weird feeling that Emporio is a bit of a... special case. Anasui nearly punted Flowey across the room when he made a joke about having tremendous power.

... Maybe he really is more akin to the villain in Emporio's story than he'd like to admit.

Flowey decides to pick his next words very carefully. He hopes that Emporio can keep a secret.]

I was a kid when I died. It's been a while since then. You decide what that makes me now.

[No, but he could ask actual doctors. He's really just volunteering at the moment. Anasui would be ready to argue about inane things should Flowey press.

But since he doesn't, Anasui shrugs.]

Not my decision, brat. You decide what you want to be. I'm just trying to decide whether or not I should call you a brat or not. [He pauses though, sensing the change in the atmosphere. Anasui isn't good at emotional cues but...] I've been told by Dr. Denne I'm roughly the same age to how I was when I died. So I'll assume it's the same for you for your medical records and make a note of it for everyone else.

Sure, grandpa. Something tells me you would've called me a brat either way. [He really must be used to dealing with a goody-two-shoes kid who doesn't talk back like Emporio. Flowey almost wants to trip him with a root just to see what happens.

[It's true. Anasui can argue about the most inane things...]

Hmph. Doesn't help you act like one. [Good thing too, Flowey. Anasui won't do anything to anyone who doesn't deserve it... but as Emporio can attest, Anasui DOES go above and beyond what's generally acceptable to people who DO deserve it.]

... [Anasui glares at him but says nothing. Instead, he grabs a bottle of medicine from the counter and puts it in front of Flowey.] Take this with meals thrice a day. If you do that, you can go back to your guild.

[Anasui goes back to the table, turning away as if done with the conversation. However, he then turns back and dumps a Mago berry on a stick in front of Flowey.]

Fine. "Thanks." [He says it so clearly with air quotes, even though he doesn't have fingers. He's not going to eat the Mago berry in front of Anasui. That feels juvenile.

He does put it in his sling along with the medicine, though.]

... So. Do you regret killing her?

No. [Anasui responds without turning around. His response is quick and flat. The lack of emotion behind his voice indicates how little he cares for taking a life, rather than any supposed guilt he could or should feel.] She deserved it. Simple as that.

Wow, you totally suck! [His face lights up as he says this-- he only sounds a little judgmental.] You don't feel anything about killing and dismembering another person? Sure, she was taking a nap with some other guy, but usually people feel someting about killing someone!

...I'm not most people. [Anasui quietly processes what Flowey said. ... A nap? Did this guy really think sleeping meant-

Now a lot of things Flowey said made sense. Maybe Anasui was more right to check how old Flowey was than he realised.

... Now... should Anasui say anything about this? Sure, he could clear up a misconception... but Anasui wasn't particularly interested in defending himself, let alone giving this brat 'the talk'.]
