Luffy? Now that one sounds like a character of sorts. An high energy captain is a good one though, they're normally very flexible and easy to work with.

He's a Rubber Man, he ate a magical fruit known as the Gum-Gum Fruit. Luffy and I were both Devil Fruit users.

The Gum-Gum Fruit is a unique Devil Fruit, each one can only exist once and only grows again when the current user dies. [Robin explains matter-of-factly.] My Devil Fruit was the Flower-Flower Fruit, and allowed me to sprout parts of my body from any surface.

Other members of my crew were a skeleton man brought back by the Revive-Revive Fruit, and a reindeer who gained intelligence through the Human-Human Fruit.

[ This weirdly sounds like something from Doriene or at least could fit in there well given what Dolly had experienced while existing there for six month before landing in the Bay. So a Skeleton man, a hyper intelligent reindeer, a rubber man, and someone who can sprout parts of her body to multiple places... ]

There's the name, Devil Fruit, does that mean there's a price to pay upon eating them? I'm a fan of the Faustian style tragedies and it sounds like something from one of them.
