For once, Catrina is cooperating! "Yeah I'll stay and take the medicine if you get me some ice cream."

How is Anasui getting ice cream? That is definitely a mystery unless the Miltank here have an ice cream parlor they run in town? Catrina really is something else when it comes to being a headache giver either by her own waxy hands or the accidentally learned new move...

Anasui frowns. He racks his brain, trying to think whether or not he's ever seen an ice creamery. Damn it, if they don't have someone to make ice cream, he'll have to do it himself. And how was he supposed to make ice cream himself?

Wait, he has a move for this. He actually has a move for this!

"... It will a sorbet at best or a popsicle. Is that acceptable?"

[gimmeeyeballs]

"Holy shit, I'm game for sorbet! That stuff is fucking awesome."

Catrina perks up at the potential of getting Sorbet as a possible ice cream. Sorry Miltank, nothing personal, but it's sorbet, delicious sorbet!

Finally, something was going his way.

"Good. If you're not going to eat the berries you're supposed to have for dinner, give them to me. I'll make them into sorbet. I'm not paying for extra rations for you."

Also she can pick the flavour but that's very much a side thing.

Without any hesitation, Catrina gets up the pecha berry and holds it up for Anasui to turn into a sorbet. It's suppose to be like a peach, right? It'd be a Peach Bellini sorbet!

"Let's do the pecha berry! I want to do sorbet for dinner."

Things really are going Anasui's way now...something feels terribly wrong in the universe right now...

There's no booze though...

"Makes my life easier," Anasui isn't her dad. He doesn't care what she does and doesn't eat as long as she takes her medication and he can say he did his duty as a clinic volunteer.

Anasui uses his psychic powers to lift up the Pecha berries from her plate and the one Catrina is holding. He takes a bowl from one of the bags around his neck and puts the berries in it. Anasui lets go of his psychic connection and the bowl drops to the ground in preparation for what Anasui's Freeze-Dry.

"Diver Down!" There's a flash of light and all the moisture is instantly drained from the berry and it goes ice cold.

He deserves a good thing on occasion. A little treat, if you will.

It looks like tonight, Catrina will have to use the powers of *imagination* to make believe there's booze in it. A candle can dream and play make believe as a full grown former amphibian.

No time to argue logic now! Catrina was more or less fixated on the show Anasui was performing with making sorbet before her! This was definitely what Catrina would call a dinner and a show. The instant freeze drying of the pecha berries did make Catrina think of wrinkled up little old people...granny sorbet?

Yep, no going back, Catrina is gonna be calling it Granny Sorbet from now on. That is the superior name for a sorbet anyways. It was more of a treat to Catrina though, free magic show and all. Also, she's for once silent...its an Arceus given miracle..

Anasui does not care what Catrina does in her off-time as long as it doesn't bother him. And he's not dumb enough to ruin a good thing, so he doesn't speak, less it reminded Catrina that she could talk. Instead, the Espathra uses his psychic powers to crush the now-dry berries, and then adds a little bit of water to the mixture before churning it with a spoon.

After refreezing the sorbet with a well-aimed Freeze-dry so it didn't fully remove the liquids from the treat, Anasui pushes the bowl of sorbet to Catrina. He then puts her medicine on top of the spoon and stares at her, expecting her to make good on her promise.

Sure enough, the candle goes to town on the sorbet, even eating the medicine along with it. Congratulations Anasui, you managed to do something that Chansey's haven't been able to do, get Catrina to take her meds! Alas, there are no guild points to be earned here...Time to harass some Chanseys for some guild points.

Soon enough, that bowl as well at the spoon is clean and sparkling with one very satisfied awful candle.

Anasui is about to walk off when a thought occurs to him. He turns his head back to Catrina, voice dropping low.

"Do not expect this to be a reoccurring theme. You will eat regular meals and have medicine as usual until you've been discharged. If Nurse Chansey tells me you've been behaving, I may consider getting you more sorbet. Understood?"

The Unown have gone on a word stealing spree ;_;

Catrina learned something new today which wasn't common and sort've weird to have it happening in one sitting. If she were to get this treatment again...Catrina will have to be very...VERY crafty with how she goes about it.

"You have my word." Is all Catrina could say, she's gonna have to brew something in her sleep...maybe. There's also the chance she'll forget all this and do something else like raid the supply closet.
