"Thanks." Ritsuka quickly dug into the berry, not even bothering to comment on Flowey's claim to have not needed the help. He could say what he liked, so long as they were both safe, as far as she was concerned. Besides, reviewing how well or poorly things had gone was for later, when the fighting was over, anyway.

"... Yeah, I need to train a lot more to get used to fighting like this, I guess."

She meant the whole crashing thing. That she had a reckless streak making itself known didn't really occur to her.

Now was the time to strategize. The ones that were asleep could be ignored for the moment, but of the ones that woke back up, there were different threats they posed. On the one hand, those that transformed into Sunkerns would presumably be weak to Ritsuka's flying-type attacks, but they also may be able to use Grasswhistle themselves. On the other hand, the Rufflet ones wouldn't have any special tricks to worry about, but posed an additional threat to Flowey.

A split second decision was needed--and Ritsuka went straight for the Ditto-turned-Sunkern. She could take more of them out more quickly, thinning their numbers, and by doing so perhaps would also be enough of a threat to draw some of the aggro from the others toward her.

And if not, well, that just meant she needed to fight as hard and as quickly as she could so that she could assist Flowey again if he needed it.

The Ditto were finally retreating, and none too soon. Ritsuka's idea had worked, but it sure had meant she'd spent several long moments desperately fending off multiple attacks before Flowey had intervened. One last push of attacks soon convinced the remaining assailants that their fellows that were already fleeing had the right idea, though Ritsuka stayed on guard watching them go until it was clear they weren't planning to come right back.

"I think it's over..."

She was tired. Physically tired, in a way she wasn't really accustomed to being.

"Are you okay?"

Once it was clear things had settled, Ritsuka's first priority was... to check on her companion. Because of course it was. Though she'd take his offering of the berry as an affirmative.

"That bad, huh?"

She couldn't deny she certainly felt worse for the wear. Nothing life-threatening, exactly (she did, in fact, know how that felt), but now that the fighting was over, it was that much more clear how much of a beating she'd taken in the process.
