[OPEN MINGLE] if everybody had an ocean
Who: Eleanor and YOU!
What: Elly's beach party!
Where:: The beach!
When: Within the first week of June
Warnings: Hopefully none, just beach shennanigans

Eleanor's hosting a beach party! Although it's primarily meant for her and her friends, everyone is welcome. So come and partake in some swimming, some games, and even the food! Feel free to respond to the prompts here or to create your own below :)can you tell i like the beach boys
1] Then Everybody'd Be Surfin'
The party is in full swing, with games on the go and a few Pokemon splashing about in the shallows. Eleanor's taken it upon herself to double up as a lifeguard, keeping an eye on those less adept at swimming should they enter the water. She knows it'll probably be fine, since it is just shallow waves. But perhaps someone who is too small is trying to recklessly catch them with no clue as to how surfing works. Regardless, she stands relatively close to the water, before finally splashing in herself to try and catch up with one of her friends.
2] Like Californ-I-A
When she's not by the water, Eleanor can be found participating in a rather janky game of volleyball. Originally she'd tried to see if the game would work with one of her bubbles, but they've acquiesced and borrowed a ball from the sports club. It's not like she can't go grab it should it get knocked into the ocean. But still, the game is tough and more than a little confusing for her, so she's quick to dip out to go and peruse the snack options instead. There's a lot of cut up fresh fruit, some grilled veggie skewers, and even a couple of meat options for the more carnivorously inclined. All of it freshly cooked on a small firepit. She's mostly helping herself to the fruit - it's an assortment of berries and what... could probably be melons? She's not actually sure, since a lot of the snacks and food has been provided by other Pokemon. The melon pieces appear to have been smashed, though. In fact, there's someone blindfolded and trying to smash another one not too far away.
It's not a beach activity she's personally familiar with, but she's glad whoever that is is having fun?
3] Everybody's Gone Surfin'
One activity previously not on the itinerary is sandcastle building - which Eleanor has been roped into by her Popplio friends. While certainly not something suited for a party, perhaps, it is suited for the beach! The younger Pokemon eagerly gather around her, packing in the sand and reinforcing it with some weak water attacks to make the sand more secure.
Eleanor's sandcastle seems... different, though. Far different to her companions at least.

[ standard wildcard option! eleanor will also hit up any tls posted below because it's her party after all! ]

Clonelin | Collinlock16 (Oneshef) | Mimikyu | OTA mostly
Closed to Eleanor, response to Everybody's Gone Surfin'
Clonelin is watching the sandcastles being built with quite some fascination. They're all so delicate-looking, but so sturdy!
It shuffles over and, without a word to Eleanor or the Popplios, just starts poking at Eleanor's sandcastle. Not enough to destroy the sandcastle, but enough to leave little tiny claw holes.
A. Resource Gathering (OTA)
Well, if sand is being used to build, then sand must be acquired! That's why Clonelin has begun digging a long, narrow trench in the sand. One end of the trench is still at ground-level, but slopes down deeper and deeper the further it goes.
Every so often, the little Mimikyu scurries out with big handfuls of sand and deposits them in an ever-growing pile.
This is definitely a tripping hazard, but it doesn't seem to realize or care.
B. Blunt Force Damage (OTA)
Wow, those are some big melons! They could provide food for a long while. At least for Clonelin, at its size.
It just has to cut it up, first.
Clonelin reaches back and grabs the wooden stick that usually serves as its "tail," wielding it in both hands like an axe.
Then it jumps up, swings-
Mimikyu used Wood Hammer!
-and hits the melon dead-on, smashing the thing to pieces and sending melon bits everywhere.
...Whoops.
C. Wildcard! (OTA)

Eleanor glances up and pokes her head around the corner. "Oh--!"

When it hears Eleanor's voice, it looks up at her.
"eleanor. ddid you do this ?"
no subject
Eleanor tilts her head to the side in confusion, while the younger Popplio moves to her side almost defensively.

She's not sure of the exact science behind it.
no subject
"make s sense!"
LOL?????
Please ignore that hers are significantly more complex than that.
it thinks in minecraft terms! getting the html for the crafting grid to work was hell though...
Once it returns, it places the bucket down like Eleanor said, then picks it up. Done!
"yourss has more blocks," it says.

The Popplios have built much smaller structures that actually look something like sand castles, some even complete with moats of ocean water. Eleanor's, by comparison, is much more city-like. Everyone's definition of a castle is different.

"like tthis?"

Eleanor shuffles over to inspect. "You can poke all the holes you want in this one."

Clonelin takes the bucket again, and begins work on a more complicated sandcastle.
Two bucketfuls, patted together into a rectangular prism, then two more bucketfuls on top. Using its wooden tail, it shapes the top two into a roof with a flat top but lightly angled sides.
Then it begins carving. A double door, and square windows, carefully placed around the sand-house.
At one point it even scurries off to the firepit, stealing an unused skewer. It comes back, snaps the skewer into multiple small bits, and places one snapped piece on either side of the "door."
When it's finally done with its work, it looks over at Eleanor.
"c ollin house ! !!" It says, excitedly pointing to its creation.

Yeah. Those are bits of melon all over him now.
"... Thanks for that."
no subject
"...that was ssupposed to break intoslices."
no subject
"You could just ask for a knife next time." He brushes off some of the mess. "Or use your claws."
no subject
"im usedd to carrying a sword oraxe or pic kaxe..." It says. "i forgotthi s new tool wouldn't work likethat."
The best tool to break a melon, where Clonelin's from, is an axe, and a sword is second-best. Clonelin's new tail is a bit too thick to be either, but in its hand, feels as if it should work like one of those.
no subject
"Those work too. I guess." He can't help himself from shaking his head a little bit, just enough to get some watermelon off his fur without sending it flying onto Clonelin instead. "Not the kind of tools you'll just find lying around here though."
Swords and pickaxes. Too bad he's about a couple decades early from ever understanding that reference.
no subject
That would make sense. The weird giant green thing it hates; Eleanor, almost two times the size of Clonelin even with its fake head; and this new weird rabbit thing, shorter than its fake head but taller than its true form. They wouldn't all be able to hold the same sword, axe, or pickaxe. And that's not even starting on the ones without proper hands.
Ah, but it has to introduce itself.
"im cOl lin."
