[It's too late-- Flowey goes flying down the tunnel and disappears. He's now officially gone.

Golbat slows down and looks between Emporio and Anasui as if watching to see what they'll do.]

[Anasui gags loudly as Emporio grabs onto his neck. Emporio's momentum doesn't throw Anasui off his feet and down the tunnel like Flowey, but it does make Anasui fall over. The man groans as he hits the ground and immediately turns to glare at Emporio.]

Why couldn't you have gone flying in with the brat? I can find you two easier together. [Anasui groans as he gets back on his feet. He imagines that they'll have to go after Flowey, whether he likes it or not... Damn it.] Can he even see in the dark?

Wh- What do you mean 'couldn't I', you wanted me to get lost!?

[Emporio scrambles a bit to get off. Golbat just watches all of this with a jaw even more slack than typical.]

...Can anyone here see in the dark?

[Golbat insists yes they can, thanks.]

[... are they going to, though? No. They're just a researcher, and the others are ostensibly supposed to be their guards. They start taking notes on things nearby, instead.

The others can hear a very distant shouting from the tunnels, but echoing might make it difficult to pinpoint.]

No. I didn't want the dumb seed to get lost either. I was just saying that if he had to get thrown off, you should have gone with him so I can find you two easier.

[Anasui clicks his tongue irritably. However, he's prepared for the dark problem. The Espathra walks up and he lifts up his feathers, as if he was about to use Lumina Crash. However, instead of releasing the eerie lights, he holds the energy, lighting up the tunnel.]

Our mission is to protect Golbat. So I'm willing to make it easier for the brat to find his way out, but unless Golbat is ready to go down there, I'm going to stick to what I agreed to.

[Anasui, why are you like this?]

Emporio sighs, and waits for Anasui to do whatever it is he plans to do. Lumina Crash huh. Yeah, that works.

Rather than ask what comes to mind- does it hurt holding all of that together?- he nods and starts toward the shouting.]

Got it. I'm going to go looking then, [He says calmly, leaving Golbat- and by extension Anasui- to it.]

[After a while, Emporio finds a burnt, bruised, and very annoyed Flowey. As soon as he leads him out, Flowey immediately accosts Anasui.]

Hey, cartoon boy! You think you can just throw me down a hole and leave me to toast?! Wasn't worth the effort to come dismember? Big mistake, moron! Now see how you like THIS!

[He immediately starts shooting a machine gun's worth of Bullet Seeds at Anasui. Golbat just sighs.]

I didn't leave you to toast; Emporio went after you. I stuck with the client. [Anasui says, rolling his eyes. He's about to say something else when he's suddenly accosted by the Bullet Seed. Anasui yelps in pain and immediately puts up a Reflect, in order to soften the blow. Notably, he doesn't attack Flowey and subtly has placed himself away from Golbat so no stray bullets get to them.]

It was an accident. But if you want me to make this intentional, I will. [Anasui glares, making sure Flowey understands he's serious.]

[Emporio did his best getting Flowey. He offered Oran berries, Rawst berries, generally tried to carry the guy back if needed-

And naturally, this is where they're at.]

F-Flowey!!! Hey, we can't just fight here!!

[Anasui, unsurprisingly, will probably realize that 'guys' is more like 'guy' and the 'guy' is the one who turned himself into a machine gun.]

... [Anasui is trying so hard to be rational. He's trying to be a better person. He's trying to be an adult. Honestly, he doesn't react with Flowey's ridiculous insinuation that Flowey would win in a fight (He wouldn't by any metric). But what gets him is the stray at Disney. What the hell, Emporio? You sharing his interests with uninteresting people? Anasui grits his teeth.]

I don't care what people know or don't know. I can enjoy what I like. Much like I can show you how actually throwing you down a pit would be. [Anasui's eyes glow blue as he uses his psychic powers to lift Flowey a meter above the ground and turn him away so Flowey is facing down the cave mouth again. He's ready to yeet the seed.

Honestly, Anasui's doing well to hold his temper at bay. Probably because at the end of the day, he recognises Flowey as an unsocialised child.

If only Flowey wasn't so GODDAMN ANNOYING-]

[He's kinda jealous, Golbat. What must it be like to have full permission to just not deal with this bullshit.

Flowey, being Flowey, antagonizes Anasui. Honestly, Anasui's taking it like a champ. Emporio half expected the Sunkern to go flying again. Or for Anasui to just, well, leave.

But no, now he's in the air, and while that's a very almost 'yeet' position, the fact is, Flowey has not been launched yet!

As it stands, Emporio just groans into his hands.]

Why is that even important right now, why...

Really, Anasui should be glad Emporio is just letting this happen.]

[... Flowey doesn't really want to fight Anasui. Not right now, at least. Golbat could easily tattle on him to Ribombee. And Emporio is right there.]

Fine. Put me down or whatever, Mickey Mouse boy. Throw me down there again and I'll teach Emporio how to swear.

Emporio already knows how to fucking swear. Why would you think I cared about that?

[Anasui does recognise that Flowey is standing down though. The Espathra releases his hold on Flowey, and while he doesn't try soften the short drop, he does make sure he's not taking his temper out on Flowey by slamming him down into the ground.

With that done, he looks up at the Pokemon they're escorting and talks as if their group hasn't just been squabbling.]

We'll wait here until you're ready to go down to the caves, Golbat.

[Thanks Anasui. He can always count on you to act like things are totally normal.

Unfortunately, while Anasui is doing that, and while Golbat is extra doing that, Emporio can't exactly...do that.

He sighs in relief- not only at the lack of a fight, but at the fact that comparatively speaking, Flowey goes down rather gently- and after a moment of silence decides he has to ask the one thing on his mind now.]

....How come you thought I don't know how to swear?

[Two things may become apparent to the observant:

1. Flowey is also a kid.

2. Flowey doesn't know how to swear.]

[Unfortunately for Flowey, Anasui is pretty observant when it comes to these sort of things and he notices immediately. However, Anasui isn't the type to actually comment unless it concerns him, so he just gives a quiet snort and keeps watch...]

[Well, small mercies at least. He keeps his voice down so that Anasui probably wouldn't be able to hear.]

...People are supposed to watch their words around kids, but when they don't know a kid is there, you hear plenty of them, sorry to say.

[Emporio knows swears!]

...I just never really found they were necessary I guess? At least, no one really deserved the real ones for the most part...

[And in that situation, he had other things to focus on, like not dying.]

[Flowey tries to whisper in Emporio's ear, but he can barely contain his excitement.] Emporio!! Teach me the worst swear word you know right NOW!

[Golbat isn't the only one learning today!]

[Oh god. He's going to start. It's faltering though, mostly because even if he's heard them and knows them he has to one, figure out mentally if it's actually alphabetical, and then two, figure out if it's an acceptable insult to even share.

He's not going to go repeating slurs himself, let alone try teaching them...

About five swears in- he has to explain them dammit!- he looks around at the others.] ...Do we need to focus on anything..?

[Flowey immediately turns to Anasui.] Howdy, you rat bastard! Suck on-- [I'm not typing out all the swears he immediately unloads.]

[Anasui turns to Flowey when he hears his name and stares blankly at him as he's slammed with an onslaught of insults and swears. His expression doesn't change much but he does let out a small sigh, suddenly extremely tired. He gives Emporio a look, almost as if begging him to let him kick Flowey for real if not outright stab the child, before he turns back at their other companion.]

... Yes. Do we need to focus on anything, Golbat?

[Golbat shakes their head and extends a wing out to the cave. They're ready to go! Onwards! Just try keep the noise down... caves echo, after all!]

FLOWEY-!!!

[So he hisses the moment the words 'rat bastard' comes out of that seed's mouth!!!

There is a tense moment of gawking astonishment while he looks between Flowey and Anasui, and finally Anasui just....

Takes the higher road. Woah.

He's going to get that bird SUCH an ikea disaster to play with later, mark his words, he'll find a guy.

For now though with a quiet, exhausted sigh, he focuses on his friend.]
