What: Everyone come hang out at the clinic because HOW many of u got beat up by the mega raid boss... come on, be honest. Alternatively check up on your friends to make sure they're not dead! or y'know you're at the clinic for different reasons/volunteering/actually sharing the new lore we all just got/whatever you want ok i'm not a cop anyone is welcome here, it's a public space

Cedric got a little singed by Siffrin's electricity during their fight, so he was ushered in the clinic along with everyone else. While he quietly appreciates the care, he feels guilty getting attention when his teammate took a far worse blow than him and will likely be here for longer.

When he spots the Lucario helping out, he's about to say something but stops himself - he mistook another Lucario for Umemiya last time, he doesn't want to do that again. So instead, once they approach him, he just gently insists,

"Don't use that healing spell on me; others need it much more than I do."

"Don't be a martyr. If you're hurt less, that means I can get you much closer to fighting trim than the Pokemon who need personal care from Dr. Denne and Nurse Chansey."

At least this is the right Lucario, the chipper teenaged one.

He lets out the softest of sighs, both out of resignation and out of relief that it's not the more reserved Lucario this time.

"Very well, Umemiya."

He straightens up in his bed, not fully sure of what to expect. Aside from general raggedness over his feathers from the electricity, there is no one area that is visibly injured.

There's a sound like a single drop of water hitting a calm pool, and then a cool sensation radiates through Cedric's entire body, soothing pain, calming frazzled nerves, and offering a good bit of healing. It's not targeted, just working throughout as a single pulse.

"How's that feel?"

Oh, that's an... unusual feeling. Like going for a swim and relaxing in a sauna at the same time. His rigid frame shivers as his muscles lose their tightness, before the Murkrow releases a much different, longer sigh than before. Even with his feathers ruffled from the fight, they somehow look cleaner and smoother than before.

Eventually, Cedric answers, very quietly, "That... is much better. Thank you."
