Impromptu Oran Sleepover
Who: Oran newbies
What: Having fun with communal dens
When: Sometime after Mightyena gathered them up
Where: The Spire, low tier dens
Warnings: Will add if anything comes up, but not anticipating anything
[As everyone knows by now, the Oran Berries depend heavily on communal living, sharing a bed is simply to be expected. For some, this experience was temporary. Mightyena was kind enough to lend the mysterious misplaced Pokémon a place to rest, but now some of them have moved on.
For others, this is now a part of life, and it's time to get used to it. The Oran Berries value treating everyone like friends and family, after all, so you're expected to do the same! Why not have some fun with it?
Whether you've noticed your fellow newcomers are all gathering in one den, or you suddenly find yourself dragged into the the party against your will, everyone is invited! Everyone's going through the same thing, belong to the same guild, you gotta stick together.....right?]
[[ooc: Feel free to use this as a mingle log! We have nine Oran Berries (I think???) and although the dens are said to hold up to eight, I think some members are small enough that we should be able to include everyone!]]

A.B.A
[A.B.A is...restless. Although it's been some time since her arrival, she still finds that sleeping without her beloved husband to be unbearable. The transformation, the misplacement, even the drafty room she can handle no problem. But how is she ever expected to sleep without wrapping herself around a giant metal key? How...how did she ever do this before she met him? She tries to recall her old bed, the one that she slept in back in her days in Frasco, that ever lonely mansion...
She...did something, didn't she? To fend off her loneliness? Yes...it's coming back to her. She had a pile of dolls that kept her company, made the bed feel less empty...
Suddenly, it hits her. The Pokémon here...remind her so much of stuffed animals... With a jolt, her head shoots up as an idea strikes her. O-Oh, it's genius, how could she not think of it sooner?! Mightyena already expects them to sleep together anyway, all she has to do....
If you're a smaller Pokémon, you may find yourself suddenly plucked from your bed and carried off in the middle of the night. Whether by the scruff or carried in her entire maw like a coconut. Or, if you're not interested in having your character physically moved without permission, they may wake to the burning sensation of a pair of eyes on them, the face of a curious eagledog looking down at them as she tilts her head. It would appear that she expects something from them, but...what?
If you're a larger Pokémon, you may find A.B.A in the middle of the act whether checking dens for misplaced newbies, or already carrying off a smaller member like a little baby. She'll freeze, eyes wide like a deer caught in headlights. Her fur bristles, but it looks more like it's out of fear than aggression. Scold her? ...Join her?]
B. The Sleepening
[After successfully gathering as many Pokémon as she can, you may now find yourself sharing a bed with a very content chimera. However, she's a very large chimera, as big as a horse—maybe even larger—so there isn't much bed to share!
She's fluffy, though... And warm... If your character doesn't object, they may find that she simply plonks them on top of her back herself. Either way, if they try to slip away, no matter how sound asleep she may appear, they will suddenly hear a soft growl. Green claws block their way before being pulled back.
You are HAVING this sleepover.]
A
What—the hell are you—?!
no subject
Even if those things are other Pokémon.]
You appear lost. I'm merely relocating you to your correct sleeping quarters, no need to thank me.
[How...is she talking with a mouth full of ghost rag? Who cares!
Needless to say, there's a bit more giddiness in her steps as she trots down the tunnels with her prized Mimikyu. Make no mistake, she is absolutely squealing internally. ...And soon externally. Hehe, she's sure to fall asleep with Shoka by her side, she can't believe her luck!]
no subject
Well, I'm not, so—! Ugh, put me down, birdbrain...!
[It might be obvious that she isn't trying very hard to escape. That could just be because she's too tired to fight back—and that is part of it—but the truth of the matter is that she doesn't want to fire off an attack and actually hurt A.B.A (not that she cares about her wellbeing or anything). The worst she manages is lightly slapping her hand down onto the top of A.B.A's beak with an indignant huff.]
Shouldn't you be sleeping in the correct quarters?
no subject
You weren't in a bed at all, were unable to find someone to share with? I wish you would've told me sooner, you're more than welcome to share with me~
[Please oh please say she couldn't find someone to share with. If A.B.A can't make the communal cuddle a regular thing, she can at least rest well with Shoka by her side.]
We'll be in the correct quarters soon enough, do try to remember it so you don't get lost next time.
no subject
[That, and even weeks in, she's still not completely used to needing sleep at all. By the time she noticed her body was shutting down and started making her way toward the beds, it was already too late.]
And I know where the quarters are, dummy! I meant you should already be asleep yourself. [Unless A.B.A couldn't sleep? It seems like they've all been having trouble with that recently.] Don't tell me you're so desperate for attention that you're just kidnapping sleeping 'mons now so they're forced to hang out with you.

B
Doc is not used to being in the middle of a veritable god damn pile of what seems to be every outworlder in the Oran Berries. At least when camping out with his fellows they had the courtesy to all pick a section of whatever bed they had and stick to it.
And when he tries to leave to go to a more private bed, the patchwork-looking pokémon- A.B.A.?- outright drags him back. Wonderful.
Well, it's a chance for socialization. That's something he will need to do. Especially given the fact this group is his guildmates- building trust early on never hurt anyone.]
...Have you tried moving another bed beside this one? I'm pretty sure someone's going to fall off the side at this point.
[Look, it's a valid concern.]
no subject
But she desperately wants to look like she's the one in control here. A.B.A's already pretty pleased that she's been able to get people to stay so far, but...will they continue to do so if she confesses she messed up? She can't risk that... She can't risk her authority...]
It was a simple test... Testing you ability to balance.
[Yeah, okay, sure.]
If you truly believe you aren't up to the task, I suppose I can allow you to move one bed.
no subject
Given we're all trying to sleep here, I think I'll fail this task.
Now, if you may...?
[He's trying to get out of the pile again. Hopefully A.B.A. won't stop him this time, because he really is just going to shove another bed up against this one.]
no subject
This is a very serious sleepover.]
Do be quick about it, I don't want to risk disturbing the others.

So, of course, the moment A.B.A touches him, he practically sticks to the ceiling, letting out a loud mewl as he's carried away. It takes him a moment to gain his bearings.]
Bwu-uh?! A.B.A-san? What are you-?
[[OOC: I hope it's okay to presume they learned each other's name at this point? After the Feral Kitten fight HAHA]]
no subject
[Ah, the kitten. A.B.A still has mixed feelings about him. On one hand, he attacked her mercilessly and she was pretty sure she was going to die that day. ....On the other, his attack inspired her to train and become stronger, to be the best Pokémon she can be...
Well, you know what they say-]
Keep your friends close and give your enemies a toaster...
[....No, that's not what anyone says at all, and how that even applies to this situation is anyone's guess.
Either way, he looks restless, and the way he clings to the ceiling only amplifies her desire to move him. He's obviously not sleeping well, which as far as she's concerned, is a great turn of events. How can he possibly say no!]
Your inability to sleep is more than obvious, relocation is necessary. You will be coming with me.
no subject
[He's- he's pretty sure that's not how it goes. Wait, nevermind that! Relocation? Huh?!
He takes a breath, calming himself. The leftover adrenaline from the nightmare, as well as from being woken up, slowly ebb away, and he allows himself to relax.
... Promptly causing him to fall down from the ceiling. Ouch. Ordinarily, he'd have caught himself just fine, but the lack of sleep must be getting to him.]
I'm... not sure what you're talking about. [Blearily, he looks around. Hey, wait a second-]
Akechi? Where's- wait, where's everyone?
[There's a suspicious lack of pokemon that he was certain were nearby when he went to bed.]
no subject
Like I said, relocation is necessary, as it was for everyone else.
[That's not...ominous at all.]
Despite your unusually high bloodlust, you're still young. Young kittens sleep better in a group, this is for your benefit.

A
What?!
[Sorry, A.B.A., but now he is thrashing, trying to break free.]|
What is the meaning of this?!
[He was sleeping just fine before, damn it! It's not like he was having a nightmare or anything.
Except his sleep hasn't exactly been restful of late, but at least having some semblance of space with Ren nearby helped a little. This is a violation of his personal bubble!]
no subject
She knows all to well what it's like to be scared.]
Fledglings belong in a nest with the others. You'll sleep much more comfortably in a group.
[Her words are slightly muffled considering her mouth is full of Rookidee, but she still is somewhat understandable.]
no subject
[Yeah, sorry, A.B.A. He's still struggling. His pride is on the line here! Why, oh, why can't he just evolve already?]
no subject
Your former human mind likes having space. Your new body has different wants and needs.
[Is that...even true? Has anyone been fighting with weird, animal instincts? The Pokémon here act pretty civilized...]
I've already observed how poorly you've been sleeping, the solution is clear. You will comply.

A
Wh-What!? Am I sleep walking??
[Wait, no, he's being carried. His little ridiculous pink feet are up in the air and he begins to kick at nothing in his attempt to find the ground again. Seriously, what is happening right now??]
no subject
That seems to be a running theme here.]
Your presence is requested elsewhere, relocation was necessary.
[Ignore any and all muffled giggles that are soon to follow as she continues trotting on her merry way. Hehe, so squishy...]
no subject
My presence-? What!? Where are we going??
[He really doesn't appreciate that she seems to be amused by all this. The giggling is just a bit much.]
no subject
[The "where" becomes quite clear when she quickly darts into another den. It may be difficult to tell at first glance, especially if he hasn't had a chance to meet every other offworld Pokémon, but it would appear the room is so far made up of other victims of whatever the heck is going on.
Conrad will soon find his squishy self unceremoniously plopped onto one of the beds, his captor looming over him so he can now get a good look of who's responsible for his kidnapping. Likewise, she can get a better look at him, her head tilting as she studies his perfectly round, perfectly pink form.
With the way he was sleeping earlier, she didn't notice before...]
Your eyes...
[They're so...large. But more importantly-]
Such a lovely shade of blue... Like two, round slivers sliced straight from the sea...

Bwh-- [He blinks blearily, glancing around. Finding that he's being air-lifted out of cozy town he starts thrashing in mid-air.] Y-- wh-- let goooo!
[Dark Heart doesn't yet realize that he knows who's moving him, just that he fucking hates it.]
no subject
There's no need for alarm, you're simply misplaced.
[But she...will make sure her grip on him is secure. Goodness, that is some thrashing.]
I'm simply correcting your mistake, you'll be back in bed soon enough.
no subject
[Part true, part "leave me alone". Make no mistake about it, he's just fine as he is-- where he is!]
