Who: Oran newbies
What: Having fun with communal dens
When: Sometime after Mightyena gathered them up

[As everyone knows by now, the Oran Berries depend heavily on communal living, sharing a bed is simply to be expected. For some, this experience was temporary. Mightyena was kind enough to lend the mysterious misplaced Pokémon a place to rest, but now some of them have moved on.

For others, this is now a part of life, and it's time to get used to it. The Oran Berries value treating everyone like friends and family, after all, so you're expected to do the same! Why not have some fun with it?

Whether you've noticed your fellow newcomers are all gathering in one den, or you suddenly find yourself dragged into the the party against your will, everyone is invited! Everyone's going through the same thing, belong to the same guild, you gotta stick together.....right?]

[[ooc: Feel free to use this as a mingle log! We have nine Oran Berries (I think???) and although the dens are said to hold up to eight, I think some members are small enough that we should be able to include everyone!]]

[...You know what, Doc is used to sharing living quarters with people who are not as close with each other as he'd prefer.

Doc is not used to being in the middle of a veritable god damn pile of what seems to be every outworlder in the Oran Berries. At least when camping out with his fellows they had the courtesy to all pick a section of whatever bed they had and stick to it.

And when he tries to leave to go to a more private bed, the patchwork-looking pokémon- A.B.A.?- outright drags him back. Wonderful.

Well, it's a chance for socialization. That's something he will need to do. Especially given the fact this group is his guildmates- building trust early on never hurt anyone.]

...Have you tried moving another bed beside this one? I'm pretty sure someone's going to fall off the side at this point.

[Look, it's a valid concern.]

[....It is a valid concern, and A.B.A hates that she didn't think of it sooner. Linoone are so much larger than the other Pokémon she's been collecting, so it didn't even cross her mind how she'd make this work by time she added him to the pile. All she knew is that he's soft and that's what matters.

But she desperately wants to look like she's the one in control here. A.B.A's already pretty pleased that she's been able to get people to stay so far, but...will they continue to do so if she confesses she messed up? She can't risk that... She can't risk her authority...]

It was a simple test... Testing you ability to balance.

[Yeah, okay, sure.]

If you truly believe you aren't up to the task, I suppose I can allow you to move one bed.

[...That's the worst excuse Doc's heard in his life.]

Given we're all trying to sleep here, I think I'll fail this task.

Now, if you may...?

[He's trying to get out of the pile again. Hopefully A.B.A. won't stop him this time, because he really is just going to shove another bed up against this one.]

[She'll let him go...for now, but her gaze follows his every move. It's intense. The kind of gaze that says if he even thinks about dipping, there will be hell to pay.

This is a very serious sleepover.]

Do be quick about it, I don't want to risk disturbing the others.

[Snrk.] I don't think I'll be the one disturbing them.

[Given the amount of nightmares his fellow offworlders have been having...

Well, anyways, he shoves the nearest bed up against the one A.B.A. (and everyone else) is already on and proceeds to curl up near the side. He's not exactly avoiding contact with anyone in the pile, but he's pretty definitely not keen on being cuddled up to as tightly as before. At least he has the courtesy not to turn his back to the group.]

Anyway. If you didn't want to disturb anyone, why were you gathering us all in the first place?

[As promised, A.B.A watches like a hawk, fitting considering what her head looks like. To her surprise, it really doesn't appear like he's planning to escape. That's...good. She was so worried. A part of her wondered if she'd even be able to do something like this without chains or leashes, but she's not so attached to these people that it felt like the effort would be necessary.

Still, the idea of anyone leaving her is terrifying... Especially when she's already so lonely...

It's why his question startles her, and she finds herself shaking her head as if to wipe away the thoughts that haunt her.]

It's better this way, I'm doing us all a favor... [She sounds like she means it this time.] We're all new to this world, many of us alone. It's much easier to sleep...when you aren't alone...

You could do with a bit more explanation before just picking us up, though.

Whatever. I don't know about anyone else, but if you want, I'm fairly sure I can move into this room next night. Doesn't look like the guild's higher-ups care where we bunk.

[Is this a good idea? Perhaps. He hasn't really talked to her until now, but he's picked up on the fact she's a pretty damn good combatant and that's always a useful trait. And seeing as she's this desperate for companionship, getting to know her won't be too hard.]

[A.B.A's eyes narrow at first, annoyed that anyone could find fault with her methods. What do you MEAN people need an explanation before being dragged somewhere against their will? They should just trust her obviously logically sound ideas and-

Wait.

Wait, what? What did he say? He's actually willing to make this permanent? A.B.A's head perks up, her ears forward. If her tail is wagging, then that's just his imagination.]

Yes? ...Yes! I believe you should follow through with that. It's only logical, as newcomers to this world, it would be wiser for all of us to stick together. We're the only ones who know what the others are going through, after all...

Perhaps. Do be careful that you don't just ignore the residents of this world, though.

[Misguided help is better than no help. Worst come to worst, you just assign them to a mission somewhere far from anything you care about.]
